Do it in a group and need a tank and healer. cant solo as tank as she is a pesky lvl 112 havoc demon hunter on perma meta that hits like a truck.

This Elite NPC is located a top of a warden tower. The area is surrounded by 110 elite demons. I would recommend using invisibility to get there or switching to tank specialisation and riding through the mobs to the tower itself

Fly into Watchers Aerie, head SouthWest to the cords

Follow that to entrance to tower at

Go up the stairs until you see the sky. There is a middle area, that is not it. Keep going.

Blizzard really went out of their way this expansion making us look for quest objectives. Takes longer to figure out where something is than to actually kill it.

Hey everyone little info on how to get to her and about her fight.

Fly to Warden's Redoubt at the Watcher's Isle.
Head South West through all the green fel ground area, if you are going southwest still you will see a path.
Follow said path up the hill.
Once up the hill you can stay to the left along the rock face. You will see giant wooden posts, you need to walk between that area.
After going straight through that opening (its a large opening) and continuing straight you will see another path that goes up a hill.
Go up that hill as well.
Now you need to take a right and follow the path.
The mobs around her tower hit hard, and there are a lot of them. Your options are to run for it, or die at front of tower and sneak up. (Or of course kill the mobs in a group setting)
Once in the tower if you stick close to the left side of stairs you will not pull anything.

This boss hits hard. If you aren't a tank you will die. Self healing tanks with gear can in fact solo however. I also saw a warlock drain life tank for quite a while before it died. All in all it is just normal demon hunter abilities but with some twists.

Such as putting green fel on the ground, don't stand in this.

Lysanis Shadesoul is located in Azsuna.
Coordinates: 43.4, 89.5 - Azsuna, Isle of the Watchers

if you start from "Wardens' Redoubt", follow the path to the west on the "Isle of the Watchers". Walk past Experimental Fel Corruptor, where the cave is on the left, and go up the path. Stay on the way until you reach an crossroads. Do not go down to the bats to the right, go straight up the mountain. At the top of the mountain, turn to the right and go to the tower and go up to the top of the tower.
Lysanis Shadesoul is at the top of the tower. Take care about Blade Barrage and Chaos Slash.

If solo on an arcane mage, I've confirmed you can start at the gates before the tower, run past the two guards and a few other mobs, run straight in the tower entrance, turn left, and get up the stairs while popping Greater Invisibility between the gates and the tower entrance. Did it at relatively low iLevel (825) with Ice Barrier up.

Anyway, no subtlety needed to get in.

Note, there are a lot of tough mobs to get to the tower. If you are at a level where you need a group and want to use group finder, you probably need to be in a group before you enter the zone. (You can try and let others doing the quest kite them away, but I didn't have much luck with that.) OTOH, at least on a big server, once you actually reach her there are enough people on her almost all the time that you can just show up alone.

With the new ridiculous ap needed for traits, I was determined to get this boss and her ap token. I'm a afflic lock, 888, not particularly skilled. I did try to "run for it" and made it to the courtyard, was mobbed outside in the courtyard and went down like a horror movie mob scene. Took a death run back and you can res in the doorway, slightly to the side of the outside, of the tower without pulling anyone. There is a mob who patrols back and forth, when he is in the back of the room you can make it up the stairs without aggroing anyone. Stay to the left when you are going up the stairs past the middle room off the stairs, and you meet two separate elite mobs on the way up which you can handle. If you can't you probably shouldn't be doing this alone! :) Anyway, she is by herself at the top, no mobs patroling around the outside. Thank god for minion and being a ranged, she does not stand still! What a pain for melee. With Voidy and my class hall companion, we took her down, it was a long fight. So it is soloable but she throws everything in the book at you.

You should get a like amount of artifact power just for getting there , and a multiple of ten if you did so without help from wow head. Can you imagine , just think about it, if there were no Wowhead. Purists might say it is more of a challenge but hell sometimes from the info given in quest description you don't even know what you are supposed to do to complete let alone how to get there. And I don't know if its just me but it seems like destinations are harder and harder to find without flight- even as attaining flight gets harder and harder. I despise being forced to do dungeons to get flight. It bothered me when we had to do battleground work a couple of "pacs" back, but at least it was only one or two. NOT 8 or more.
