I looked everywhere for the "lens," but didn't find it. (I think I just GAVE it to him ... right?) Eventually, I just right-clicked to the right of Velen, and then could see the vision. DOH!

All his dialogue on this quest is about walking in the Light. I'm specced Discipline right now so okay, but does he say anything different to shadow priests? Seems kinda weird to go "you will bring all together under the Light!" when you're burning with purple void energy haha. Especially when a shadow priest going a little nuts is what kicked off this little chain in the first place.

I hate that there are so many vague quests that require a Wowhead search to know what to do. For this quest, right click on Prophet Velen and tell him to begin the ritual. He'll move towards the Alter of Light and Shadow and stop. In front of him is a yellow ball, that you TOTALLY wouldn't see because of camera angles (again, wtg, Blizz). Click the yellow ball.

Oh, joy. Velen wouldn't complete the ritual and instead disappeared near the end. No orb to touch. Couldn't figure out what to do. The only thing I could think of was that I needed to complete a quest somewhere so that the quest would sync and then complete. Filed a report and got a useless GM response that had nothing to do with GAME MECHANIC and everything to do with, they should be replaced by AI bots.

The one quest I could figure was to obtain the Tears of Elune in Val'Sharah and then place them in the class hall. Which seemed to have worked.

As for the "GM"? Canned spam AI response that was utterly useless.

If, like me, you're slamming these campaigns out from scratch on fresh alts in Legion Remix - you may find yourself lost, confused and unable to continue the campaign after completing this.

You NEED to be lvl 30 to continue the campaign past this point and pick up the subsequent quests.

Description

Once I ingest the elixir, the vision will come quickly. Gazing into the Lens of the Tides will allow you to see what I see.
