Felpaw Ravagers in the 56, 25 (northeast) area of Felwood are great for the Silvery Claws, they give around 40% droprate.

The Irontree Heart drops from the Treants in the Irontree Woods area, got mine from an Irontree Stomper after about 5 kills.

Claws are best found on the Felpaw wolves with about 30% drop rate.

Claws are dropped by any beast, with claws. Irontree Heart is dropped by Irontrees which hang out in the 49,29 area

Basically the drop rate isn't that bad. I got the heart on the 3rd kill off a Irontree Stomer at /tloc 44 23. Get this first, then when you get it start heading back to bloodvenom falls and kill the Angerclaws (about 80% drop rate) and the Felpaw Scavengers (about 60% drop rate) which are found just off the path the whole way down to Bloodvenom falls... hope this clears thing us for you all.

Got my claws off Angerclaw Bears (Lv 47-48) all around Eridan Bluewinds hut with in 25 kills - The heart off Irontree Stomer at 49,28 on the 3rd kill (Finally something to kill)

Flew to top of Felwood, got the heart off the first Irontree Stomper I killed then killed all the clawed enemies on the way back down and had enough claws at the end.

I got them best off the felpaw ravagers (wolves) Still stuck around the area and killed both felpaws and Angerclaws (bears) for quicker drop times.

Nice information.
Droprate is O.K.
The wolfes are spread around the hoal Felwood, and the droprate is just as good from the low levels on the side of the road as from the higher levels up north (around 56, 25 as stated in the first post)

Got irontree heart at 50.3 18.1 co-ords in Irontree Wood northern Felwood after about 20 kills but got the claws off random bears and wolves all over felwood.

Make sure to kill the angerclaw grizzly also while killing the others. The drop rate is higher also

my drope rate was about 15% :( killed about 13 wolfs and 28 bears and only then a hade all what i needed for this quest

Erm... Me and my friend (I'm lvl 57, he's 56) have been searching the area for two (2) hours today. We killed every living creature... Still NOTHING drops... Is it a bug?

I just completed this questline.

The irontree heart dropped after the 2nd kill from the Wanderers and Stompers.

The drop rates according to my loot watch for the Silvery Claws were around 60% on the Bears in
southern Felwood and never dropped on anything but Maulers in mid-northern Felwood at a rate of 30-40%

When you go to summon Aquementas the items are NOT consumed in the creation of the totem but you may trash them after the totem has been created.

37.43 is a great place for the claws - good drop rate.

best coords i found was 52 30 , there were only wolves around and well i finished in 5 min :D, not only that but they were all lvl 51 and under

A great place for Bears (Angerclaw Maulers) Level 49-51 is just north of Bloodvenom (Horde Basecamp) at Coords 38,44. This is also a great place for skinners to go for Thick and some Rugged Leather and a great place to farm for money (Even more so if you sell the leather you get) as the Maulers drop good vendor trash and you are close to the camp (Horde Only) Travel north to get to the Irontree woods.

Get the quest from Emerald Sanctuary(50,80) and start heading towards Irontree Woods(48,23).
get off the road and on your way to irontree woods kill all beasts you see by the time you reach irontree you should have all claws.

The Bears and wolves are located around 55.25 east of Irontree Woods. Droprate off the bears was 25% and 36% off the wolves. As for the Irontree Heart, I got that on my second Irontree Stomper.

I got my irontree heart from the first irontree I killed (which was an irontree stomper), so either im lucky or the drop rate is 100%...

I just killed all the bears and wolves on the way back for all my claws :D

The quest name might be a reference to the silver lining u get around your hearts when u upgrade your "armor" for the first time in LoZ Ocarina of time.

Ok hard quest to do spent ages trying to get the claws but couldn't.. then found out i was killing the wrong things and got them quickly.

The Irontree heart i still haven't got but im still trying fingers crossed

Focus on the Felpaw Ravagers on the plateau above Irontree Woods, they were giving me the best drop rate for the claws, about 25%. Ignore the bears, unless you enjoy mindless drudgery. I accumulated all 11 in about 2 sweeps of the plateau. Recommend you do this during a time of low player population, as this area is active for both horde and ally, and the respawn rate for the felpaw ravagers is reasonable but if you are in competition with others you might be here a much longer time.

The irontree heart I got on the first drop, that part was easy.

The Angerclaw Maulers have a pretty good drop rate for the claws. Almost every kill I got one.

The drop rate for this quest is horrible. It took me an Hour to get the claws,but the heart was fine. :P

The quest drop isn't so bad, i got the heart in the 2nd kill and nearly all wolves and bears dropped the claws. The problem is that you have to kill like 20 (bears and wolves) to get the claws.

This was nice and simple.

Killed felpaw savages for the claws, got a drop almost every 2 kills.

Got the irontree heart on second kill.

Dropped on first kill. But i can remember last char i leveled and i killed around 20-30 threes before it dropped.

1. Jump on the air taxi to run up to Bloodvenom Falls.
2. Mount up and go to 39,45 where there are about 8-10 bears.
3. Kill the bears collecting any Bear Flank and Silvery Claws found.
4. Mount up and go to 46,24 where there are a dozen or so treants (and one bear).
5. Kill 1-5 treants till you have the Irontree Heart.
6. Mount and return to where the bears were and continue killing till you have the 11 claws.
7. Mount and return to Bloodvenom Falls.
8. If you don't have it, buy the two Bear Flank cooking recipes from the vendor in the tent.
9. Cook up your preferred bear meant recipe for some very nice buf food.
10. Jump the air taxi to return and cash out the quest.

Result is some possible Cooking skill-up points, possible new cooking recipes, some good buf food and the quest knocked out very quickly. Took me about 20 minutes including travel time, fighting time and time for a coffee refill.
