So, since there is no quest on wowhead for the Final Key and Apexis part. Here it is.

It's inside a cave at 73.4 34.9 and the key is at 71.8 34.6

Then just go out the cave and follow the trail all the way to the Device at 73.5 43.3 and you will have to rotate the statues until the orb on each one is facing the moon statue in the middle.

After it comes active, click it and you will be summoned to a place to kill Aspect of Rukhmar.

I didn't see a quest for the first or last key, so here are the coordinates for those locations.

First Key: 53.0, 14.8
Second Key: 60.5, 12.4
Third key: 71.8, 34.6 (inside the cave at 73.4, 34.9)
Device: 73.5, 43.3

If you are here looking for the first key, it is at 53.0, 14.8 at the base of the hill, it looks like a shield, it is sitting flat on the ground behind the Skettis scarecrow looking things. Added a screenshot for clarification.

Info on the full "The Apexis Device" quest chain, one of the six quest chain criteria for the Master Relic Hunter (Alliance)/ Master Relic Hunter (Horde) achievement needed to get the Harrison Jones follower with unique Mentor trait. This chain takes place in Spires of Arak, the southernmost Draenor zone.

Bug Notes: Have at least one quest slot free in your quest log (i.e. at most 24 of 25) when you're on this chain, or a quest may become uncompletable. Also, can't complete these quests while in a raid group, and being in a raid group could screw up a quest so it becomes uncompletable. If a bug crops up, try logging off and back on, but or if a quest is still uncompletable, you can return to your garrison, delete the quest, and re-accept the quest on that step of the quest chain from the book on the ground next to Harrison Jones.

Optional suggestion before leaving garrison: If you can get the Skettis daily Apexis Crystal quest (Assault on Skettis (Alliance) or Assault on Skettis (Horde)), this quest chain takes you to the same area during the first quest, and you'll be there for a while, so you could do both at once.

1. Treasure Contract: Amulet of Rukhmar: Gather five Research Notes in the quest area around (to highlight the quest area in blue on your map, click on the quest on the right side of your map window). Two similarly time-consuming ways to get to the quest area are:

Fly to Akita's Hovel flightpoint in Shadowmoon Valley, mount and ride northwest above the river, then ride in the river at in Spires of Arak to avoid mobs, go south out of the river at just before a waterfall, and follow a winding path up the hill into the quest area. — OR —
Fly to Crow's Crook flightpoint in Spires of Arak, follow the path north/northwest, then turn northeast at the fork in the road at (there are some mobs to run through).

There are quite a few mobs in this area (it's the same area as is used for one of the Apexis daily quests), so unless you can stealth, expect some fighting. The spawn rate of the research notes is slow enough that it might take anywhere from a couple minutes to a couple hours, even though it's a small area. Notes are not hidden, but they're small, and sometimes in or next to a pot that could obscure it from certain angles. You do not get shared credit for notes when in a party; each party member must get five.

Other glowing quest objects (winged totems, etc.) in the area have caused some confusion; if you don't get a "hand" cursor when you hover over an object, it's probably from another quest.

After gathering five notes, click the "Click to complete quest" pop-up.

Wandering around looking is probably the most efficient method, but specific spawn points for Research Notes, from left to right, include:

2. Amulet of Rukhmar: The First Key: Located up the hill at ; looks like a circular golden compass pattern on the ground. Click it, then click the "Click to complete quest" pop-up.

3. Amulet of Rukhmar: The Second Key: Located at the bottom of the waterfall at , underwater; looks the same as the first key, on the bottom of the river. (From step 2, you can just walk due east down the steep hill, and follow the path at the bottom eastward to the shallow river and waterfall, jump down the waterfall, then swim downward.) Click the shiny circular "Mysterious Device", then click the "Click to complete quest" pop-up.

4. Amulet of Rukhmar: The Final Key: Located inside a cave, which has an entrance at (just follow the river downstream, using a Reins of the Azure Water Strider mount if you have one, jump down the next waterfall, then turn northwest to enter the cave). The key itself is at , just a short ways in the cave, to the left, just inside the middle of three branching tunnels. Click the shiny circular "Mysterious Device", then click the "Click to complete quest" pop-up.

5. Amulet of Rukhmar: The Apexis Device: Head southeast back out of the cave, get ready to fight a few mobs, and travel further down the river to . (You can probably just ignore the mobs if do this next step fairly quickly). There are three statues there. Click each statue until they face the center Portal Device - they turn 90° per click. Once all three are aimed at the device, it transforms into a functinoing Portal Stone. Clicking it teleports you to where you fight the nearby Aspect of Rukhmar (391K health)...the mob spawns at , and if it isn't there when you arrive, someone probably just killed it, and it should respawn in less than a minute. Kill and loot the mob to get the Amulet of Rukhmar, double-check you looted it (i.e. your bags weren't full), then hearth back to your garrison to turn the quest in to Bodrick Grey (Alliance) or Rokhan (Horde). Bug Note: Sometimes Aspect of Rukhmar simply does not respawn; if that happens, try realm-hopping by joining parties (not raids) of people on other realms to try and get to an instance of the zone where he is respawning.

Bag Space Tip: You can safely delete Compiled Research from your inventory. It's just for interesting reading. Each Harrison Jones quest chain leaves a similar soulbound book in your inventory (click for list).

If you don't have the Reins of the Azure Water Strider, make sure to have a few Elixir of Water Walking/Draenic Water Walking Elixir

1. Treasure Contract: Amulet of Rukhmar Fly to Crow's Crook in Spires of Arak

Travel north to Skettis to coords 46,9 and proceed to loot the 5 Research Notes

1st Research Notes: 48.8,8.4
2nd Research Notes: 48.8,10.1
3rd Research Notes: 50,8.8
4th Research Notes: 50.4,9.3
5th Research Notes: 52,10.5

2. Amulet of Rukhmar: The First Key Travel to coords 53.0,14.8 for the first key

3. Amulet of Rukhmar: The Second Key Travel to the top of a waterfall to coords 60.4,11.7 and jump down into the water below

• Get the second key at coords 60.5,12.4

4. Amulet of Rukhmar: The Final Key Travel the river southeast to coords 73.1,34.2 and jump down (you will probably need to heal yourself down below).

• Enter the cave and travel to coords 71.8,34.6 for the final key

5. Amulet of Rukhmar: The Apexis Device Exit the cave and proceed to an Apexis "monument" at coords 73.4,43.

• Aim the three statues so that they are facing the Portal Device.
• Click the Portal Stone.
• After you are teleported, kill Sol-Shaper Krivin (391k health).
• Loot the Amulet of Rukhmar

If for some reason you feel like trolling this quest is perfect for it. When you need to turn the statues and you see someone else doing it just keep spinning them around. I myself play on PvE realm so I saw an alliance guy doing the quest while I was doing it also so I decided to spin the statues around just to make him mad =)

Description

The first point has been activated and two more remain. The second location is hinted at in the old outcast writing: "Beneath the third fall of the great Skettis river lay the second key. May the ever-rushing waters sweep away those that might seek it."
