To anyone getting annoyed trying to find this place the coords are 51.54 27.03 to a cave entrance.

rather than hand in at Harrison Jones, we have to give it to Bodrick Grey who will "make sure it makes it to him"... presumably by walking a couple of feet

Since no one has added this yet for Alliance:

The first part: Kill ogres in Broken Precipice for 5 torn journal pages.

Second Part - Go to the arena in the northern section of the Broken Precipice and such in the big skull on the ground for a red gem, it is not obvious. It's directly across the ogre head on the spear that summons the rare boss on the daily.

Third Part - In the area by the lake there's a rock with a swirl on top of it, it is tucked into the side of it in the water, a scroll. Once again not obvious.

Fourth piece - Go to Arena of Blood and there is a pillar with the sword sticking out the top, it is on the same side the pet master tamer and BMAH, that wall along there is the pillar. Run up the the steps to either the pet master or BMAH and run along the balcony wall to retrieve.

Last Step is simply handing in the previous items in a ghostly cave and fight a mini boss with approx 350k hp.

After that HS to garrison and hand it into Bodrick Grey, ignore the mini map as it will be bugged. He is outside the entrance to your town hall. (Not sure the equivalent for horde put prob that same NPC you hand a lot of things to.)

Rewards are 150g :)

Info on the full "The Spirit Forge" quest chain, one of the six quest chain criteria for the Master Relic Hunter (Alliance)/ Master Relic Hunter (Horde) achievement needed to get the Harrison Jones follower with Extreme Scavenger and unique Mentor traits. This chain takes place in Nagrand, the westernmost Draenor zone.

Getting Starter Quests: The first quest is given by Harrison Jones, who turns up just inside your garrison's Town Hall on random days. He's in some garrisons every day, all giving the same chain's starter quest for that day; use Group Finder's Premade Groups/Custom category to search for "Harrison" to see if anyone is inviting people to their garrison to get the quest.

Bug Notes:

If you collected an item that should complete a quest, but the quest isn't shown as completed, log off and back on (just reloading won't work), click the quest in your quest log, and see if you can click "complete quest".
Leave at least one spot free in your quest log (i.e. 24 of 25), or a quest may become uncompletable going from one quest to the next.
You can not do these quests in a raid group; doing some steps in a raid group can make a quest uncompletable.
If a quest becomes uncompletable, you can return to your garrison, delete the quest, and re-accept the quest on that step of the quest chain from the book of Relic Hunting Notes on the ground next to Harrison Jones. All but the initial quest are also shareable from party members, if you are on the same step of the quest chain.

1. Treasure Contract: Gutrek's Cleaver: Fly to Rilzit's Holdfast flightpoint () in Nagrand, follow the nearby path west. Do NOT turn right (north) at the branching path at or you'll be on the wrong side of the mountains. Try and run around the pack of 3 patrolling mobs on the road, or try to outrun them if you aggro them; they have over a million health combined. Turn right (north) at the branching path at , and travel a short ways up the road to kill Arcanist Earthsmashers (117k health), Slave-Grinders (136k health), and Sledgebashers (117k health) for Journal Pages; Broken Drudges, Dominating Drudges, and Bloodbash Breakers do NOT drop pages. When you collect 5, click the "Click to complete quest" pop-up. BUG NOTE: If you're not receiving notes when killing mobs (every 3 or 4 mobs should drop a page), and you double-checked you're not in a raid group, try logging off and back on.

Bag Space Tip: After you get credit for completing this quest, you can safely delete Goldspade's Journal from your bags. It's just background on goblin treasure hunter Val Goldspade's exploits, for interesting reading. Each Harrison Jones quest chain leaves a similar soulbound book in your inventory (click for list).

2. Gutrek's Cleaver: The First Piece: , in the same Broken Precipice area as step 1, down in the sunken pit of bones toward the north. The quest marker on WoW's map isn't exactly centered on where to get this; Gutrek's Pommel looks like a small red stone inside the eye socket of an animal skull, on the path just next to the largest puddle of water in the bone pit. Click it, then click the "Click to complete quest" pop-up.

Gutrek's Cleaver: The Second Piece: southwest of Nagrand's Mok'gol Watchpost, quite a bit south, in the ruins of a small altar midway down Nagrand's map from step 2; Aviana's Feather will be faster than riding a mount if you have one. Gutrek's Hilt is a small object in Gultrik's skeleton's hand, partially obscured by a round stone that covers half the skeleton. You may have to adjust your camera angle lower to see it. Click it, then click the "Click to complete quest" pop-up.

4. Gutrek's Cleaver: The Final Piece: , UP at the top of a stone monument (look up!) in Nagrand's Ring of Blood. Again, Aviana's Feather would save some time, or follow the main path to the Ring of Blood shown on the map of Nagrand. The monument is in between the repair guy Olbrook and the refreshments vendor Kruggok. Once you look up and see Gutrek's Blade atop the monument, go up the stairs to its east, and with a little jumping, walk along the wall above the monument until you can jump on top of the monument and reach the blade. Click it, then click the "Click to complete quest" pop-up.

5. Gutrek's Cleaver: The Spirit Forge: Cave entrance at . Bug warning: do not attack the boss if it's there when you enter the cave, until you're on the last step of this quest. You don't have to follow the path once you get out of the Ring of Blood; the area is downhill, so no mountains will block your path. BUG NOTE: When you enter the cave, you should get credit for the first of the quest criteria, "Locate the Spirit Forge"; if you did not receive credit for this part (it may happen if you glided in, or just randomly), walk back out and back in until you do get credit before doing the other parts. Click the Furnace in the cave to light it, then click the Anvil (if you wait too long, the furnace goes out, and clicking the anvil will result in an "Invalid target" message; just relight the furnace), then click the Trough; you should now have credit for the second of the quest criteria, "Reforge Gutrek's Cleaver". Next, click Gutrek's Cleaver in the glowing column of light between the anvil and trough. This will summon Gutrek (391k health). Kill Gutrek and loot Gutrek's Cleaver from him to complete the third part of the quest, "Claim Gutrek's Cleaver". BUG NOTE: If you kill Gutrek (3rd part of quest) before reforging the cleaver (2nd part of quest), which can happen if someone else is a step ahead of you, or if you're in a party and you're not the one who reforged Gutrek's Cleaver, or if something else just glitches, you might not be able to complete the quest; one person reported being able to hand it in at their garrison anyway, with the 2nd part of the quest not completed. If that doesn't work, you may have to drop and reobtain this step of the quest (either shared from a party member, or by going back to Harrison Jones).

Double-check that your quest is ready for turn-in, then hearth back to your garrison to turn it in to Bodrick Grey (Alliance) or Rokhan (Horde).

Start by flying to Rilzit's Holdfast in Nagrand, and then head WEST to Broken Precipice 37,18

1. Treasure Contract: Gutrek's Cleaver
• Kill any Ogres in the area to collect the 5 Journal Page needed for the quest.

2. Gutrek's Cleaver: The First Piece
• Go to 40,15 and loot Gutrek's Pommel - It appears as a small red stone in the water by some bones

3. Gutrek's Cleaver: The Second Piece
• Head southwest near Mok'gol's Watchpost at 38,39, click Gutrek's Hilt in the water

4. Gutrek's Cleaver: The Final Piece
• Head to the Ring of Blood and loot Gutrek's Blade at 55,12

5. Gutrek's Cleaver: The Spirit Forge
• Head to Earthshaker Gorge to the Spirit Forge, the cave entrance is located at 51,27
• Click on the Furnace, Anvil, and the Trough.
• Gutrek's Cleaver will appear for you to click to summon Gutrek for the final phase of the quest.
• Gutrek, is soloable, and has 391k health. Loot Gutrek's Cleaver, and turn in at your garrison.

For those (like me) who don't use addons with cords, the cave entrance is in the Southeast section of the gorge. Right at the bottom right edge of the circle that contains the number for the quest objective.

So annoyed. I did the first 4 parts of this quest. As I completed the 4th part the 5th and final part popped up and went 'no room in your quest log' closed and took all the items from me and the actual quest itself. So be careful. I had 1 empty spots. I would make sure to have 2 or more empty to do this quest.

Gutrek's Cleaver: The Spirit Forge

Locate the Spirit Forge in Earthshaker Gorge and reforge Gutrek's Cleaver.

Description

With the pieces recovered, all that is left is to reforge Gutrek's Cleaver. Goldspade's journal seems to indicate that the only place to do this is the location where it was initially dismantled. The journal mentions a "Spirit Forge" used to dismantle the blade, and that it may be located somewhere in the nearby gorge. Find the forge and use it to combine the pieces you've gathered.
