This letter gives you alot of XP a nice ring ( twinkiee ^^ ) and it isnt that hard, even level 16 people can do this qeust with a little help from higher people.

This quest is started from http://www.wowhead.com/?item=2874 which can sometimes (depending on faction) be dropped by Edwin VanCleef who is located in the Dead Mines. It goes on for 11 more quest its final reward being http://www.wowhead.com/?item=2933#comments.

When you turn in this quest, Baros Alexston says:

Edwin... I see the years haven't changed you a bit, an idealist as ever, and a romantic.

So I was wondering if they were gay together or something. It's kinda weird...

This chain has a few eerie (and completely coincidental) parallels to Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol. I say they are coincidental because Dan Brown's novel was written after the quest (late 2009).

The Lost Symbol is about the Masons (a secret society that had goals to improve the infrastructure of the United States).
An Unsent Letter is about the Stonemasons (a secret society that had plans to rebuild the city after the war).

The name of the antagonist in The Lost Symbol is Mal'ahk, although he has many other names.
The name of the assassin in An Unsent Letter is Marzon, aka Maelik.

In The Lost Symbol the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) becomes heavily involved in capturing Mal'ahk.
In An Unsent Letter the Stormwind Intelligence (SI:7) becomes heavily involved in capturing Maelik.

There are probably others, if you really want to stretch it, but these are the obvious ones.

1) I think he's brilliant (and not for the da'vinci code, but for Digital Fortress and Deception Point)

2) If the stonemasons weren't secretive, then why were the identities of the existing members secret and why did I have to keep my mouth shut for the entire quest?

3) I did not call him the 'antagonist', I called him the 'assassin'

4) This is just another parallel that adds to the others. Only pointing out interesting coincidences here, not trying to unmask some sort of conspiracy that would've required a time machine.
