The follow-up quest showed as out of my level range (the exclamation point was grey) and I am level 92. I'm guessing it has a lower level limit of 93.

D'kaan can be found at Highpass if he isn't at Wildwood Wash.

Altauur can be hard to find since the question mark doesn't show up on the map. You won't see a question mark until you get close to him. If he runs away and disappears you went to the wrong place- that's for later in the quest chain. He should be found near or in a tiny cave (it doesn't appear on the map) not far from a dead genasaur.

The question mark to turn this quest in was showing up on my minimap at the wrong cave, a bit to the northeast of the real location at 49.39/49.62. When I came in this direction, the question mark then moved to the right location.

He's at the southern edge of Dionor's Demise, just past the green "oasis" area.

I found mine at 49,49, down on a rock surrounded by a pile of dead minions, like the submitted picture, not the cave. You should be able to "/tar altauur" and find him easy too.

He is kinda hard to find, as he is kinda a stealth mode, on a rock...coordinates 49. 49.

FIRST he is at a pile of rocks at the bottom of the hill, like the submitted photo... (to the RIGHT of the cave if looking at the mountains)

THEN, after you talk to him, he tells you to talk to this big tree... THEN he will appear inside the cave.

Position apparently moves or has moved. I found at the 49/49 coords.

He is not in a cave. He is somewhat stealthed and crouching on a rock outside at the base of a hill southwest of the cave. Sorry I don't have coords. He moves to the cave for the next quest "Ambassador to the Ancient".

If the ! on your minimap is taking you to the wrong location it is because you passed him on the way in. He is crouching on top of a rock, stealthed at 49,49.

He will give you a follow-up quest to talk to Birchus, who in turn will give you a follow up quest that will take you to the location your minimap is reporting.

He's in stealth mode and it's very clear to see him

Find Altauur at Dionor's Demise in Gorgrond.

Description

We are still trying to locate all of our scouts out in the field. One of these, Altauur, enjoys handling the more dangerous missions.

He has not checked in and I feel we should check to make sure he has not taken on more than he can handle.
