Companion quests - The Shadow of the Worldbreaker and The Gunpowder Plot.

You'll find him shoveling poop buckets into the nearby pools on the south side of the area...because that's totally sanitary, right? Eww. I was doing The Gunpowder Plot at the same time, so...both outhouses got some gunpowder lovin'. Hey, the Blackrocks didn't really care that much about their sewage anyway, might as well set it on fire! But, after Ga'nar is gone.

While you are running around doing this quest and the next one, Blackrock Laborers yell things about Ga'nar.

Blackrock Laborer yells: Don't let up on that Frostwolf pup. We must break his spirit.
Blackrock Laborer yells: Is that Frostwolf runt broken yet?
Blackrock Laborer yells: Tell that Frostwolf to keep shoveling! Hrah hrah hrah...

Next quest - Polishing the Iron Throne.

Travel down the path to coords 48.6, 14.2 and accept the quest Prepare for Battle from Vindicator Maraad.

1. Prepare for Battle - (Video) - Continue down the path and loot 30 Blackrock Weapon from the Iron Horde Weapon Rack, and off of mobs in the area.

• Travel back to coords 48.6, 14.2, and turn in the quest to Vindicator Maraad.
• Accept the quest The Battle of the Forge, from Cordana Felsong (coords: 49.5, 14.1)

2. The Battle of the Forge - (Video) - Travel down the path and kill 15 Blackrock Grunt and 3 Ogron Warcrusher.

• Turn the quest in to Farseer Drek'Thar (coords: 43.0, 26.5). After the cut-scene accept the quest Ga'nar of the Frostwolf.
• Accept The Gunpowder Plot from Hansel Heavyhands, and The Shadow of the Worldbreaker from Thaelin Darkanvil.

3. The Shadow of the Worldbreaker - (Video) - Kill Blackrock Laborer and Blackrock Machinist until you have looted the Worldbreaker Schematics from their corpse.

4. Ga'nar of the Frostwolf - (Video) - Travel south to coords 41.9, 41.8 and turn in the quest to Ga'nar, and then accept the quest Polishing the Iron Throne.

5. Polishing the Iron Throne - (Video) - Travel north and enter building on the right (entrance @ coords 43.8, 38.0), and go downstairs.

• Kill Overseer Gotrigg and loot Ga'nar's Shackle Key from his corpse.
• Go back up the stairs, exit the building, and travel southwest to Ga'nar at coords 41.9, 41.8, and turn in the quest Polishing the Iron Throne. Accept the quest The Prodigal Frostwolf.

6. The Gunpowder Plot - (Video) - Travel north and enter the second building on the right (entrance @ coords 45.5, 31.7).

• Click the Blackrock Powder Keg, exit the building, and turn right to travel to coords 44.1, 29.6.
• Turn in the quest, The Shadow of the Worldbreaker, to Thaelin Darkanvil.
• Click the Makeshift Plunger next to Thaelin Darkanvil.
• Turn in the quest, The Gunpowder Plot to Hansel Heavyhands.

7. The Prodigal Frostwolf - (Video) - Travel north to Farseer Drek'Thar (coords 43.0, 26.5), and turn in the quest.

• Accept Taking a Trip to the Top of the Tank from Archmage Khadgar (coords 43.1, 28.7).

8. Taking a Trip to the Top of the Tank - (Video) - Speak to Thaelin Darkanvil (coords: 44.0, 29.6), and select "Yes. I need you to help me operate that enormous tank."

• Follow the stone-paved road to the large tank (coords: 37.2, 47.8), and kill Gogluk.
• Travel up the tank's "ramps" and chains (coords: 37.4, 49.2), turn in the quest to Thaelin Darkanvil at the top of the tank and accept the quest, A Taste of Iron.

9. A Taste of Iron - (Video) - Click the Worldbreaker Side Turret to take control of it, and use the Turret Blast (button #1) to kill 200 Iron Horde mobs below.

• Ignore any tanks that are firing at you, as these can't hurt you.
• Click the Main Cannon Trigger up by Thaelin Darkanvil and, after the cut-scene turn the quest in, accepting The Home Stretch next.

10. The Home Stretch - (Video) - Travel down off the Worldbreaker and take the stone-paved path to the south, heading for the docks (coords 44.3, 80.7).

• Turn the quest in to Archmage Khadgar.

Find Ga'nar.

Description

We must move on, there isn't time to waste!

One of the elders of my clan, Ga'nar, is out there somewhere. I can sense him, but I cannot find him.

Keep an eye out for Ga'nar. He is a strong-willed orc, and will languish in captivity.
