From what i have heard you need to completely empty all mobs and bosses in Wailing Caverns in order to awaken Naralex, which in turn will spawn a final boss who will drop the nightmare shard -starting this quest.

The Talbar Mantle are an excellent pair of shoulder for a level 19 twink of any class.

One of two pairs of shoulders available with stat bonuses for the 19 and under level, (Other being Ghostly Mantle)

This pair with it's +3 stamina is great even for warrior's or pally's.

I have a level 15 rogue I wanted to twink but she won't give out this quest. :( Maybe it requires level 16?

Does anyone know if you need to be with the guy rushing you (if you get the shoulders for your twink), while killing the bosses or can you just wait at the entrance of WC, and stillt start the quest?

easy quest altho i did have a lvl 70 run me thro wc and i got the box then but yer easy quest

Before being able to get this quest you have to do http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=6981 which requires you to do the Wailing Caverns Instance. You can do this quest being horde or alliance.

These are the best shoulders I have found for my twink warlock.

Quest xp is unchanged in 2.3, even though the chain starts from a dungeon (Wailing Caverns).

It is the only shoulder pads with +3 stam and +6 int for a lvl 19

It is an excellent level 19 twink item for clothies. It's a must have item.

Don't be fooled by the posted level requirements.

The first part, The Glowing Shard, only requires level 15. It even tells you this when you examine it in your bags. So, get your Shard before than if you can. Go see the guy in Ratchet, than the Tauren on top of WC.
The Glowing Shard gives you 3150 XP at level 15.

Than go to TB to turn in In Nightmares to Hamuul. This gives 2000 XP at level 15.

And since there is no level requirement on this item, you can put it on at level 15. Nice.

For those of you twinking and concerned with XP, and not getting too much, have a lock or hunter run you through. If the pet ganks all the kills, except those with the necessary drops, there is no XP gained by you.

Where is Falla Sagewind, the quest giver? Also I saw Rizz say i need to kill the last boss, and i did.

Salla is at hill where WC is. You can see her hut nearly from Crossroads.

This also grants 63 reputation with Silvermoon City (I would assume Orgimmar, Undercity and Darkspear too however I can not confirm as I am exalted with them).

In order to pick up this quest you have to first turn in the Glowing Shard picked up in Wailing Caverns which requires level 15

Emerald Dream is prolly going to be a future expansion and continent with hamuul as the opener of the entering for horde or a questgiver inside the dream. The Dream got so much lore, and current stuff happening so it have to come into wow sometime. Just like northrend and outland. If it is the next expansion i got no idea but either that, or the mealstrom is my belive, if it's the mealstrom we get to see alot of goblins in undermine :d and prolly lotsa nagas and maybe naga tribe which is good or something as the choose side rep faction (like scryers and aldor in outland and the teddy bears or the murloc thingies in northrend)

To start the prerequisite quest you need to be level 15 so the level 10 stated above is misleading.

This quest was marked obsolete by Blizzard and cannot be obtained or completed.

Bring the Nightmare Shard to Hamuul Runetotem on Elder Rise.

	Nightmare Shard (Provided)

Description

This shard holds great secrets; it is the pure essence of the Emerald Dream. However, what I see in this shard is not a dream; one would call this sort of a vision a nightmare.

I do not wish to alarm you, <name>, but I think it is best if you deliver this shard into the hands of a wise druid as soon as you can.

Hamuul Runetotem on Elder Rise is who you need to find. Head to Thunder Bluff. I cannot say more.
