This is a quest to defeat spiders, spiderlings, and spider eggs with a flamethrower. Need I say more?

Sadly, the big spiders take almost no damage, so my dreams of fending off giant spiders with a flamethrower is shattered. That just makes them more scary, but at least Lava Burst still works.

The flamethrower can be cast while moving, albeit with a considerable snare.

It also does very little to the spider mobs themselves, which lose a very small portion of health and get a debuff stating that you have merely pissed them off.

So now you must deal with a pissed off giant spider that is slightly on fire.

I was roasting the spider eggs near Marksman Lann and accidentally pointed the jet of fire right at him for a moment. He wasn't happy about it: "Whoa, point that somewhere else!"

After I did the quest, I turned it in and had to laugh as he congratulated me on my performance with the dragon gun :P

I was able to use the flamethrower in ghost wolf form as a shaman.

It looks weird: like you're standing idly on all fours and the eggs just burst in flames in front of you on their own, since the flamethrower animation doesn't play.

I didnt get the name of this quest. Then, after completion, i got in the shower. There was a HUGE spider in the shower with me all of the sudden, and i yelled "NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE" and jumped out of my shower and had a mini heart attack, and then it hit me; Blizz knows how people react to spiders.

In case you're not able to pick up this quest, as I was, because the zone phases out... Go speak to Zidormi at Mogu'shan Palace and view Vale of Eternal Blossoms as it was before the assault.
