At the tower at 33.4,54.4 there are two Dark Iron Lookout NPC's standing next to eachother. Kill the patrolling Heavy War Golem and stand in between the Dwarves. Happy bullet farming! :)

As a level 48 Retribution Paladin I just found 2-3 Dark Iron Marksman and stood outside melee range of them for about 5 minutes as they shot at me. You pick up a bullet for every shot, so it's really just a case of waiting around and getting shot at, unless you want to pick up a couple of the Dark Iron Bullets crates that are lying around.

As my health started to get low, would proc and I'd just start healing myself up. Once I had all of the bullets I killed the marksmen off to help with Siege!.

Yes if your getting shot by the marksmen you "catch" the bullets by just standing there. They do very little damage, at least for my lvl 85, but its probably quicker to collect the big boxes.

I really wanted to do this quest for the gun, but when I flew to this guy, he didn't have any quests.

So I quested my way from the entrance from the Badlands up to Thorium Point. When I had done all the quests there (more specifically, when I finished Dark Ministry ) I was sent to Rendan and could finally accept his three quests.

I found this quest to be very annoying at level 90. Considering they can't hit you to save their lives.
What I did: I pulled 2 to 3 (as many as you can without losing aggro) while on my mount and then faced my back towards them. This was the only way I was able to be hit by the bullets. Went AFK for awhile, about 10-15 minutes and I was almost done. I just wanted that sexy gun for transmog XD

A warning:

I ended up with 203 bullets in my bag, so I moved three bullets to its own stack, and then removed them. But I shouldn't have done that, because when I removed them the quest seemed to delete itself from the quest log, and then ALL the bullets were removed.

As an elemental shaman (lvl 49), I just healed every once in a while, and collected bullets, letting the dark iron lookout continue to shoot at me while I collect bullets. (While I'm typing this response.) I don't even have the quest yet.

My monk I am leveling is able to collect the bullets, yet does not have that quest. She is a miner and herbalist. I am leveling her mostly doing pet battles dailies.

Description

Those gorge-digging dwarves do at least one thing right: they make very high-quality bullets. I've been unable to reproduce their results, so I've taken to stealing whatever bullets of theirs that I can find.

Ye want my help? Get me a couple hundred bullets from those marksmen below.

I'm sure they'll be happy to give ye their bullets one at a time, but you might find it faster just to look for the crates filled with them.
