When turning in this quest, the npc will move a bit from it's location. Pay attention at the purple signs that appears on the ground, which gives you a new quest: "Suspicious Hoofprints". In the middle of the floor, on a wood there is another purple sign which gives the quest: "Lieutenant Paval Reethe" and on the fireplace there is a thrid purple sign which gives the quest: "The black shield".

These maybe can help you to get Dustwallow Marsh quest achievement.

Somebody involved with creating this whole scenario with that inn must have sometime watched an OLD TV show called Petticoat Junction....Theme song..."There's a little hotel called the Shady Rest at the junction, Petticoat Junction."

Inspecting the Ruins

Investigate the Shady Rest Inn in at the border of the Barrens in Dustwallow Marsh.

Description

If you follow the road south from the village, and then west toward the Barrens, you'll come across the ruins of the Shady Rest Inn.

Theramore has sent an investigator to discover how the inn met its fate. I had a man placed in that inn as a spy and I don't trust in the competence of these humans to uncover what happened.

Whatever you find, don't give a scrap of it to that investigator. We'll handle this ourselves.
