Just go in the house at coordinate 65.59 downstairs there will be a table upstairs and there will be a book click on either to complete the quest

This is the saddest a single quest has ever gotten me; the only quest chain that made me sadder that I can remember offhand is the Bridenbrad chain. So well designed.

Edit: And the Taelan chain was very, very sad also.

Wasn't able to loot quest objects. Tryed the old abandon and redo with no success Patch 5.1

It is quite possibly the most elaborate "finger painting" I have ever seen. No wonder they chose to hang it over the fireplace downstairs. (and not tape it to the refrigerator)

Note: If you are a shamen use a searing totem to light the picture so you can see its detail.

Quest is actually bugged. I can't take the "Faded Finger Painting". The green bar loads fully, but nothing happens. Dropped the quest and tried to log out and back in, but it is still not working. Opened a ticket for this quest. Actual answer: "Your ticket has been escalated."

Update:
The problem persist, Blizzard is woring to relsolve the problem. They sent me via mail the needed item. If you have the same problem, open a ticket and they will probably send you the "Faded Finger Painting"; too.

If you can't find the Finger Painting, it's on the bottom floor hanging above the fireplace.

The book is upstairs on the bedroom floor.

Description

It's funny the things you remember. I spent 16 hours a day working the fields, and every seventh day I'd head into bustling Andorhal to sell what I'd grown. It was a tough life, but we did alright.

But I barely remember any of that. When I think back to those days, I think about Gloria's smile, or Andrea waving from the window whenever I'd look up from the plow.

The farm's just a bit to the east, but I'm not sure I'm ready to go back, <name>. I'd just like to make sure I hold on to these memories.
