I work in an apple orchard.
I approve of picking apples...
But on the ground? We have flying mounts for a reason you know... and hey; why not get the best apples for the King Wyrm or does the last name show that Wyrm likes Worms in his cider...
People seem to be OK with eating apples off of the ground, which I dont get...
You know bugs live on the ground right? And I doubt that Stormwind can afford pestasides without getting into a scramble. Night elves HATE these things you know...
Not to add how many homeless people live in Stormwind, One has to wonder if they hire gaurds to protect the trees for having people steal apples... or if they just gobble down as many as they can while they are on the ground... followed by a bad tummy ach and begging for food/gold...
Not only that; but what type of apples are on these trees? A a head chef he knows that a Macintosh makes a better cider then a Joh-mac or a Courtland... right?

While there are many trees in Stormwind, you only want to look under the apple trees. If you don't see fruit among the leaves, move along. As example, the closest one to the questgiver is at (55,74).

I camped one of the trees around the cathedral. There were two spots along the planter that the apples appeared. An apple dropped usually every 2 minutes, though one time took about 5.

Reputation gain for me as Human was 69 for Gilneas, 69 for Alliance. If you are not exalted with the pre-Cata capitals, you might fill those out first.

Can be picked under any apple tree in Stormwind (as there are many apple trees in Stormwind, fairly easy to complete)

A Fisherman's Feast- All you need to do is farm it fishing in lakes in the canals you know the normal way (inside stormwind) i alredy tryed it work or the easiest and funniest way steal it! yeah steal it from the fisherman's around Sw you just need to right click the barrels next to them.

There are some spawning points:
1. West of the Trade District (55, 69).
2. East of the Trade District (69, 65).
3. East of the Cathedral District (63, 51).
4. West of the Cathedral District (47, 58).
5. Northeast of the Cathedral District (56, 42).
6. Southeast part of the Dwarven District (69, 41).
7. Southeast of the Dwarven District (71, 44).
8. Northeast corner of Old Town (74, 50).
9. Olivia's Pond North of the Dwarven District (72, 23).

Feeling crabby?-This one is easy just right click the crabs you find in the canals but i have a tip for u before you start ride a mammoth while doing it because since they are much taller then normal mounts so they can walk on the cannals any other normal sized mount will be forced to swim and create a simple macro: "/target Canal Crab" makes it alot easier.

Orphans Like Cookies Too!-In this one you can just buy the sugar from various npcs (some npcs are Connor Rivers and the candy seller next to the quest giver) or loot it from the ground it is confirmed that you can buy several sugar bags rom the same npc but what i really recommend you is camping the spanw point of the sugar(It spanws inside several building in sw most of them related to cooking in any shape way or form) since the spanw time is 5 seconds! yh i know. But still i will give you some usefull places to search for it:

In the Mage Quarter
Blue Recluse (kitchen)

Trade District:
Everyday Merchandise

Old Town:
Pig and Whistle Tavern (kitchen)

Dwarven District:
The Golden Keg

Penny's Pumpkin Pancakes- You just have to gather them from the farm in Sw theres only one farm in sw so it shouldnt be hard to find but i will give you the coords anyway (around 55,11)this quest is in the same area of Diggin' for Worms so if you have both at same time consider yourself lucky :)

The King's Cider - And the last and annoyinest of all king's cider require you to look for the trees that have apples and search around them for fallen apples seems easy right well it is but the trees are scattered all along Sw and some just have 1 apple in the ground that will take even more time if another players are doing it. Some coords/tips now to help a bit . The closest tree to the quest giver is at (55,74).The apples show if you have finding herbs(herbalist skill) so if you are herbalist this will be easier. Final Thing the respawn time is around 2-5 mins for the apples.
All These quests are turned in to Robby Flay excpet Diggin'For Worms that one is turned in to Catherine Leland.

Probably you will find this info in various comment tables thats because i want it to be in every comment table related to this topic.

Simply take a tour around Stormwind, I start by heading for Old Town. Check each apple tree as you go. No need to camp, just keep running around until you get all that you need, usually you won't even have to make a full lap around the city to complete this.

Juicy Apples are found at the following locations around Stormwind:

Mage Quarter (5 Trees):
1. Near the bridge to the Trade District (55,74.5).
2. Northeast part of Mage Quarter (49.8, 78.4).
3. Small alcove in the East part of the Mage Quarter (51.4, 81.6).
4. Middle of the Mage Quarter (49.2, 83.1).
5. Northwest of the Mage Quarter next to the bridge to the former Park (44, 74.8).

Cathedral Square (5 Trees):
1. Southwest of the Cathedral Square between the bridges to the Trade District and the former Park (53.8, 63.4).
2. Southeast of the Cathedral Square between the bridges to the Trade District and the Dwarven District (59.9, 58.8).
3. Barely east of the middle of the Cathdedral Square (57.2, 56).
4. Northwest part of the Cathedral Square (49.1, 51.3).
5. Northeast of the Cathedral Square, just north of the bridge to the Dwarven District (58.2, 43).

Old Town (3 Trees):
1. Southwest of Old Town (72.3, 67.4).
2. Southeast part of Old Town, near the fountain (76.1, 62.4).
3. North part of Old Town, near the exit from Old Town to the bridge to the Dwarven District (72.6, 55.4).

Trade District (2 Trees):
1. Northwest of the Trade District, between the bridges to Old Town and the Cathedral District (65.3, 61.9).
2. South part of the Trade District, just before the Valley of Heroes (64.7, 75.9).

Dwarven District (2 Trees):
1. Southwest of the Dwarven District, next to the bridge to Old Town (66.4, 51.3).
2. Northern part of the Dwarven District, slightly west of the fountain (62, 34.4).

Apple trees are particularly easy to spot from a flying mount. Just look for those trees with the dark red fruit. None of the other trees have fruit. You can rapidly fly across the city and drop on any tree with dark red spots on it.

If you don't feel like running all over SW looking for apples there is a tree that the apples spawn @ at a regular basis (between every 30 seconds to 2 minutes). The tree is in Cathedral District by Just maces, the fountain and 2 Lamp posts. I don't have coords installed but, I hope this helps...Happy Hunting

This daily is fairly easy, but it's plagued by the "High demand - Low supply" issue.
A few people have mentioned that not all the trees are apple trees. Each tree can spawn 1-3 apples (not sure if they can spawn more. Most I've seen is three but if anyone can confirm they spawn more then please mention). Most apples spawn on the ground or on the wood surrounding the tree, with a few spawning within the bushes around the base of the tree so be sure to check everywhere.
Retracting back onto the supply-demand issue, it's easily avoidable if you do the dailies in the off hours or, if you don't want to risk running around, camping a few trees in desolate corners.
Personally I've had luck with two trees in the Old Town district (one near where the cooking trainer is and another near where the flightmaster is.) and a few in the Mage district. I don't have coords on me atm.
Just my 2c. (Note: For future references, if Blizz ever decides to increase the spawn rate on the apples, this post was written on 12/20/2010.)

You'd think you'd the see apples drop from the trees. They just "magically" spawn on the ground. :)

My toon can fly, mount crazy animals, travel through portals, and kill the Lich King.. but somehow I am unable to climb a tree to pick fresh apples. Will this be a level 90 ability in the next expansion?

This quest brought my guild exp (weekly guild activity points which I am assuming to be guild exp) up by 17350, from 369,450 to 386,800.

I do not know if it is a vestige of my early Horde years or my dislike of Robby Flay's evil real-life twin, but I always feel a perverse sense of glee picking up apples from the ground for this quest. Because there are Stormwind Rats underneath at least one of the trees every time I do this.

Funny that other apple trees used to decorate Stormwind like at 44,70 do NOT actually produce apples for this quest. :-P

Description

I am forever in debt to our King for all that he has done for us. One thing I can do for him is make his favorite drink! Lucky for us, the ingredients we need to make this wonderful drink are located right here in Stormwind City. Apple trees can be found in every district of Stormwind. These trees are too tall to pick the fruit from, but lucky for us the apples have fallen to the ground and are easy to retrieve.
