He is at the back of Serpent's Coil, right under Nethergarde Keep. Eventually you will top a rise in the mine and see a small hut; that's Kasim's camp.

Entrance to the Serpent's Coil is at roughly 60,29. You really do have to fight through all the mobs and go to the back of the cave. Once you've done it once and met with Kasim, he will give you access to his teleporters. There is a stone in the back of the cave where he is, and one right outside the entrance to the Serpent's Coil.

As of March 14 2011, this quest is extremely hard for a cloth wearing class of appropriate level for the zone to do solo because the respawn rates are absolutely ridiculous.
I tried 4 times with my mage and could not get past the first bend in the tunnel because the mobs behind me were respawning before I'd killed the ones in front of me. Every time I ended up with 5-7 mobs on me.

Anyone reported this quest: Kasim Sharim. If for the quest creator this is a sick joke. probably same one who wanted to drop felcloth. They must hate cloth toons.

Ok did this on my level 57 gnome mage arcane, the trick on the mobs is NOT to loot after the kill, doesn't respawn and go slowly...lol gl once you get the transporter not so bad going back and forth.

This may be an unnecessary reminder for some, but don't forget to make sure you're in the right timeline by talking with Zidormi before you go into the cave. I wandered around wondering where Kasim Sharim had gone for a good 10 minutes before I thought to see if logging out changed my Blasted Lands timeline. Note: it did.

Description

I need you to pass on a message for me.

Kasim Sharim is an old blood mage that knows a great deal about the demons of the Blasted Lands. Though you wouldn't know from looking at him, he's quite old, and very powerful... if a little eccentric. As of late, he spends his days in the back of the Serpent's Coil, a cave not far from where you killed those cultists.

Please, deliver this message to him. He will know what it means.
