When a cage is open, you cant rescue the prisoner so just leave those. Dont stand trying to figure out what to do : /

Sounds about right about the bugged quest rewards, i received the paladin epic item level 365 pvp ret gloves (Vicious Gladiator's Scaled Gauntlets) as a reward for this quest lol. To bad I'm a druid so fairly useless to me.

Edit: After talking to a GM it turns out to be a client only issue showing the wrong item clearing the cache thus forcing it to reload the item fixes the problem and the proper item is loaded.

Sometimes (well...almost always for me :/) the cage is open and it has prisoner inside... You have to wait till it close and then use it ...

If the prisoner had a shank/mace/sword on them the whole time, WHY WOULD THEY NEED RESCUING?
It's not like they couldn't just kill their guard on the way in...

Pretty sure they weren't knocked out and thrown in, because whoever did the knocking would have had sense enough to friggin' CHECK while they're out cold...

Was having trouble opening the cages, you can only open the ones that are within the 'blue' area on your map when you press M for some reason. The ones outside this area will do nothing.

This is the last quest i need to do to get the Sinking in to Vashjr achieve. But none of the enemies inside of lo'threk (i think thats how you spell it) drop the quest item.... :(
