If your lucky, bronze tubes are sold by engineer merchants. Theirs one in stormwind in the dwarven district near the engineers.

There is no real reason for this other than a little exp and wasting time and money getting the items.

You can have a druid or mage remove curse on you and you will be fine.

The curse hightens the chance enemies can see you greatly.

It is definitely curable by anti-venom (FA crafted). I cured it immediately as I got poisoned, didn't even KNOW there was a quest to cure it. I did this in 2.1 if that information matters. Doesn't seem worth doing anyway. Anti-venom is abundant.

Simple Wildflowers can be found at the Fragrant Flowers shop in the Canals of the Trade District. The price is 1 silver 80 copper.

Leaded Vial can be found at the Pestle's Apothecary in the Trade District. They are sold in stacks of 5 for 1 silver 80 copper.

Bronze Tube can be found at the Engineering Supplier in the Dwarven District. When I bought the Bronze Tube from him it was the last one in stock. I don't know how often he restocks or what quantities he usually has.

Spool of Light Chartreuse Thread can be found at the Finest Thread Shop in Cathedral Square. It is on the floor.

How do you get this debuff/poison? i saw a Rogue Horde with it but when i search wowhead its an alliance quest :S

I'm amazed when people ask "Why do I need the cure?" when you are supposed to get the key FIRST. Afterwards sneak up to the tower and get the book. Not vice versa. Common mistake..

So remember that when you are doing this quest late at night or early in the morning when no1 can be bothered looking you up to cure it.

if you don't have bronze bars you can get them from AH im IF/SW and Booty bay i know the IF and SW but not sure about BB engineers can make them

Get a venom sac from a spider, and use the rogue ability "Antivenom." That's what I used to get rid of it while I was still inside of Klaven's Tower. I ended up buying from the AH for the Tube, however, now I have this potion that I don't need to use. O.o;

This quest is retarded! I got this quest AFTER I got the quest to go up to the tower. I had a venom sac from a spider and it got rid of the poison before i left the tower.

To Anti-venom to work, you need to target yourself first with F1, if you right click only you will get "nothing to dispel" message.

Just did the quest chain last night. Got poisoned, tried the anti-venom and it didn't work the first time... but it removed it on the second use.

Anti-venom worked perfectly for me.

But in case you want to actually get the items and XP:
Simple Wildflowers -- (69,69) In Stormwind, sold by a vendor for 2s
Leaded Vial -- Any trade vendor, my favorite is in the trade district
Bronze Tube -- Auction House or Engineer Vendor
Spool of Light Chartreuse Silk Thread -- Outside the Cathedral Square, in the canals (52,61)

I recommend against doing this quest unless you want the exp - I made the cure, (the single-use cure) and it failed to cure the poison.

I logged out overnight and when I logged back in the poison had disappeared.

The cure for Touch of Zanzil is easy to find!
Just use a JUNGLE REMEDY and you are health again.
When I was trying to do the Kanzen quests, I took
this ill for 3days. So I give up for search the cure,
and continue my quests at Rebel Camp(Stranglet Horn).
In one of those quests I found this JUNGLE MEDICINE and
try to use it. I have nothing to lose >D
And it healed me! I can stealth again HAahahaha

The Touch of Zanzil

This quest was marked obsolete by Blizzard and cannot be obtained or completed.

Bring Doc Mixilpixil one bundle of Simple Wildflowers, one Leaded Vial, one Bronze Tube, and one Spool of Light Chartreuse Silk Thread. The 'itis' doesn't cure itself, young <fella/lady>.

Description

It's unanimous, <name>. You've got the 'itis.'

Luckily, I have a cure for the 'itis.'

Here's what I need: One bundle of simple wildflowers, one leaded vial, one bronze tube, and last but certainly not least, one spool of light chartreuse silk thread. Ol' Emma left a spool of it for me at 'The Finest Thread.' You can find the shop along the canals.

Hurry along now, <name>, and try not to touch anyone until you're cured. Oh, and Dr. Montgomery says you need a shower -- his words, not mine.
