if you forget and get lost like i did
you find this npc west of the canyon you rode your seahorse in
49.0 72.0 is the enterance from the east side
and is in the cave there.
shimmering grotto is bearing 225 deg from it

Pets can apparently kill the mobs during the vision so... yeah interesting

I was a little surprised when my felguard randomly started killing all of the mobs during the cutscene

In order to getPay Attention! you must completeGirding Our Loins before acceptingHelm's Deep.
Better Late Than Dead andThe Abyssal Ride are NOT needed to takeGimme Shelter! and followups, however that would make you unable to getGood Deed Left Undone.
Lady La-La's Necklace have 0% drop chance beforeOphidophobia done and 100% after, however anyone can share you this quest as long as you are 80+lvl.
Anyone can takeVengeful Heart and do it's followups as long as they are 80+lvl. Quests above are NOT needed for it.

The Vashj'ir quests start in Stormwind with Call of Duty.
The immediate pre-requisite for these quests is Across the great Divide which starts in Kelp'thar Forest .

How do I end the quest? The dialogue has ended, but i'm still in the trance, unable to move. I can't hearth out, etc.

Anyone else had this happen or does anyone have a solution? Yes, I realize I could abandon the quest and accept it again, but I'd rather not...

So after a heap of raging and trying (lol) I left group to try and fix it. Worked perfectly after that, so if you are in a group, leave it and try, if that doesn't help, I have no idea =)

We'd all suspected da naga, but I knew nothin' of the Twilight Cult bein' beneath the waves. Somehow dey are corruptin' and pervertin' the elements, makin' demselves into dese horrors.

i think the problem is not the fire , maybe u guys spoke with the NPC when you were on mount like me , so dismount first then speak with that Troll .

If you see nothing other than yourself, the troll, and a purple mist: this isn't a bug, it's simply low settings and a small draw distance.

I tried starting the quest while on my Sea Turtle mount and I couldn't see him in the dream. Only when I dismounted and started the quest could I see him.

For the people still struggling with this quest (I know I did a lot...) try a simple relog. It worked for me when anything else didn't.

Wasn't mounted but bugged out.
Tried changing graphics to max but bugged out.
Tried relogging but bugged out.
Tried fulling closing the game and restarting but bugged out.

Decided to start the quest on the fifth attempt while standing in the fire and it worked. GG Blizz.
