This might well be one of the easiest quests I've ever done. Just run by the mob and absorb it, hence the quest name.

This is part of a quest chain in which the player aids Kalecgos (the new blue dragon aspect) in finding Azuregos and protecting him from the black dragonflight. It spans much of the land of Azshara and is composed of many quests, several of which are completely original in their concepts.

I originally had issues with the quest bugging out on me where i wouldn't absorb and they would just attack me., I had to log completely out of the game and back in.

They would sometimes just attack me, but when I took a few steps away from them they'd get absorbed :)

After you've turned this quest in, don't, even for a second, think that these innocent looking little things are going to be so absorbently forgiving as you try to find your way back though them to get to the main land...

You can actually abuse this quest to gain a level fairly easily when you are low level. Here's why and how:

As of right now, you get experience (anywhere from 90-130 or so) by damaging and then absorbing the Vile Splash's.

This is easily done with a druid moonfire/ hunter auto attack/ shaman shock/ any ranged damage attack.

For example, on my druid, I simply ran around moonfiring (once) every Vile Splash I could find. As soon as they ran next to me, they died from the aura, and I got the exp for the kill. Got from level 17 to 18 in under 15 minutes this way. Just don't turn in the quest once you get 20 Water Droplets and you can do this until the cows come home.

Interesting little tactic is all.

If anyone's reading this, how the hell do I absorb? I'm clicking on the sponge like you're supposed To and running by all the splashes on my mount, but I'm getting nothing from the sponge. I even tried setting it as a key stroke and nothing happened. Am I supposed to gather and get attacked by twenty at once? D:

This was a pretty decent quest. It gives really good money and exp.

Collect 20 Simmering Water Droplets from the Vile Splashes east of the Ruins of Arkkoran.

	Enchanted Azshari Sea Sponge (Provided)

Description

One other thing I need. Hot water.

Not easy around here. Not hot springs, no friends to share. One good way though. Have this sponge... it's ultra absorbent! Use it to go soak Vile Splashes at the sandbar eastish.

With enough, go squeeze them out over near the tower to summon jumbo elemental. He has hot water.
