You cannot be phased when finding the stone, this messed me up for awhile, it is large and on the south side of the underwater building

After the completion of the quest, you can hear a conversation between the Malynea and Clubnik:

Malynea Skyreaver says: Did you hear that, Clubnik? Those that died defending Lake Mennar are heroes. Their selfless actions may have even saved this entire world! A memorial should be erected.
Custer Clubnik says: Sure I hear ya.
Custer Clubnik says: Howsabout a ... Memorial Fuel Depot?
Custer Clubnik says: It'll be very tasteful!
Malynea Skyreaver says: Clubnik? I hope you die. In a fire.

Currently this quest is bugged for a number of people and it appears to be on blizzards end.

Those who experience this bug are unable to interact with the chest to loot the quest item.

Quest worked for me. You dont need to talk to the night elf chick to be able to loot it.

I was not phased and could not interact with the stone. I went back and pahsed out and in again and still could not interact with it. I abandoned the quest and now cannot get it back.....

When I encountered the bug, heading back to the NPC that started the chain, I was able to reacquire the last quest to actually pick up the stone.

For some reason, after finishing the memories of the dead quest, when it says to search for the stone, I had no quest and I could not click on the chest. I went back to Malynea and she gave me the quest and I was able to finish the quest line.

I love that the Archmage tells you to "swim to the bottom of the lake and bury the stone deep beneath the center arch.", followed immediately by "Hopefully the demons won't discover it when they raze the surrounding temple."

I swim to the bottom to retrieve it, and what do I find?

A giant stone cask in the middle of the lake.

Currently bugged - Cannot be accepted throught auto-completion box. You can accept that quest manually from Malynea Skyreaver tho.

Description

Before she died, Kalytha was charged with burying something at the bottom of the lake, a powerful artifact that the archmages of Mennar spent their last moments creating. No doubt Malynea Skyreaver will want to see the artifact, presuming it still exists. You resolve to search the bottom of Lake Mennar for the Sarcen Stone.
