Catrina and Chapman are in Terokkar Forest, just east of Shattrath City (40,22).

To complete this quest, purchase an Orange Marigold and the Bread of the Dead recipe from Chapman, bake some bread at the Ghostly Cooking Fire beside him, and use the Marigold. You can now see the spirits and can turn in the quest.

In addition to the Macabre Marionette the quest yields experience (21150 at level 76).

If you're a warlock or have one handy, the Detect Invisilibility spell will allow you to see the spirits without having to purchase the Orange Marigold. (Yes, I'm that much of a cheapskate. >_>)

Its not only in shattrath its also in your races capital city e.g taurens thunderbluff, orcs ogrimmar and so on this is also stated in the wowhead guide

It appears that if you've done this quest last year you cannot do it again this year.

Having already completed the Night Elf The Grateful Dead, Cheerful Aldor Spirit would not give me this version. I assume they're mutually exclusive - makes sense - but I suppose it's possible this quest isn't available anymore.

Edit: Note that this year, even if you've done a Grateful Dead quest in previous years, you can do it again.

If you are Pandaren, I found this one to be the only one (along with the Scryers version) that you can get. I couldn't get anything in Stormwind (and the Horde probably not in Orgrimmar) and I couldn't find any of the NPC's in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, either. :edit: And the one in Dalaran, obviously.

They need to have some place else other than Shattrath for the Pandareans, especially if they are not high enough level to get there. It's not fair to the lower levels.

Pick up your Simple Flour from Jim Saltit (63.75 68.54) and your Ice Cold Milk from Shaarubo at World's End Tavern (75.20 33.58).

Acquire some Bread of the Dead and give it to the Cheerful Aldor Spirit in Shattrath's graveyard.

Use an Orange Marigold to see the otherwise invisible spirit.
