The title of the quest is obviously a humorous alliteration reference of the famous "Hungry Hungry Hippos" board game.

You'll have to do this quest 20 times to get the 20 Venomhide Baby Tooth for the quest They Grow Up So Fast, which will allow you to ride your new mount with Whistle of the Venomhide Ravasaur.

This all starts at Mor'vek when he gives you the quest Toxic Tolerance.

The full chain quest is:
- Toxic Tolerance
- Venomhide Eggs

Then the following quests for 20 days (it's a random quest each day)

- Hungry, Hungry Hatchling
- Gorishi Grub
- Poached, Scrambled, Or Raw?
- Searing Roc Feathers

And finally you will finish They Grow Up So Fast and get your new raptor mount.

If you walk a few steps away from the Venomhide Hatchling, when you right click to "turn in" each of the 15 pieces of dinosaur meat you'll see a charming animation of the hatchling catching each piece of thrown meat, with a variable number of animations.

A little warning should be made here.
These 4 daileys are lame to do because you won't get any experience from delivering the quest.
I hoped that you get at least get some experience for all the troubles you need to do
when you are about lev 55 you gain a bit exp. from killing those mobs but thats over real soon as you grow in you levels after 20 days.
So unless you only do this because you want to get the hard to get pet i suggest to skip it because its lame and boring if you ask me.

How can I get my hatchling to eat? I didn't get any meat from the dinosaurs...

Make sure you've accepted the quest, each dinosaur drops a piece of meat.
To feed the hatchling, target it and right click on the meat.

My hatchling had a normal greyed out mark over its head then when I finished the quest it vanied all together, no turn in option. I unsummoned the pet and pulled it back out and it was willing to accept a turn in. This is a known issue according to the GM I spoke to.

Person is right, not sure why his post was downrated. Diemetradon, Stegodons, and Pterrordaxes. People just need to read the quest log more...carefully. Instead of coming straight to wowhead, lol.

This may seem obvious, but Dinosaur Meat does not drop from raptors or devilsaurs. It does drop from all other dinosaurs in Un'Goro, however.

Heres a tip for you.
If you have got 15meat and haven't fed him all 15, don't turn in the quest, you can continue to farm the dinosaurs for more meat and keep them for the next daily and hope for it to be .

If you were like me and thought "Hey those big arse elite Stegodons must drop more of this meat!"
they don't. It's a waste of time to kill them unless you're high enough to one shot. :)

Where did you all get the 10 rugged leather? I can't find it in AH or on trade channel. I took up skinning but I would have to level up quit a bit to get this type of leather...

According to this, this quest was made obsolete. Not sure where that is coming from, since I just obtained this quest today.

Hungry, Hungry Hatchling

This quest was marked obsolete by Blizzard and cannot be obtained or completed.

Your Venomhide Hatchling wants you to feed it 15 pieces of Fresh Dinosaur Meat.

Description

The venomhide hatchling looks at you expectantly, then begins to scrawl a pictogram into the dirt.

The drawings are rough, but you can make out the shapes of diemetradons, stegodons, and pterrordaxes. As the raptor finishes the sketch, it looks up at you, bares its teeth, and makes a biting motion.

Your venomhide hatchling must be craving fresh meat from these animals. Find and kill any type of diematradon, stegodon, or pterrordax in Un'Goro Crater and feed its meat to your hungry hatchling.
