As far as I know, this quest is very hard to do because you need to go to Swamp of Sorrows, which is pretty much impossible to get to as a member of the horde unless you're level 60. Any tips would be greatly appreciated, but I'm pretty sure this chain dies here.. =(

Its actually pretty easy all you have to do is go to grom gol run thru duskwood and go west into deadwind past which has no agroable mobs and you'll be in swamp of sorrows..

btw found him at 63,20

he is next to the tarantula you need to feed for a new horde Q picked up in Stoneard :)

also "Lost one Cook" (a rare spawn) can spawn right next to him.. and since he is surrounded by ranged mobs remember to clear around him first ^^

he wasnt at 62,20 when i looked... he was in the middle of the camp with loads of other lost ones and they all attack you...

Easily able to do this part of the quest solo as a level 35 warrior. Went in from the mountain range and pulled Ongeku. He can seperate from everything else around him, but at the time he was standing near a campfire, so it may be different for others. Make sure to slow him before he runs, or he might get too far away and pull adds.

It's a good idea to pick up Draenethyst Crystals and Little Morsels if you're Horde/Mercy for the Cursed if you're Alliance before doing this quest. Killing Ongeku doesn't take long, but the less you go into that hellhole, the better.

It seems as if this is either bugged or does not drop to 100% even if having the quest. I have now killed Ongeku twice without getting the shard. Sucks ass to be honest!

correction: go EAST, not west, through Duskwood, to reach Deadwind pass.

to get to the swamp is pretty easy from STV. follow the road north until it branches. then go EAST and play the avoiding game depending on your level. Once you hit Darkshire Village, continue slightly NE through the mountains, through the pass, to the swamp. To grandmother's house we go.

I was looking up the centaur quest chains, not looking for Ongeku. >_o All you have to do to find him, anyway, is click on the link at the top of any quest page and it tells you what you need.

soloed as a 35 rouge, easy, except for the lvl 44 mage who ganked me twice, but he got his own, camping bastard got backstabbed LOL

He's at 62,22.

If you look on the minimap where the road runs SW to NE, he is just up from where the road ends.

61.4, 21.6, He is not one of the taller Cursed Lost Ones, he is of the smaller variety. He was also standing by a campfire.

He'll be standing in the rear of the Fallow Sanctuary camp area, in the middle of the different little camp sites. Two rare elites can spawn nearby, the Lost One Cook and the Lost One Chieftain.

For 3,710 experience, this quest really isn't worth it...unless you do it to complete the centaur quest chain.

Tried to find him for the past 2 weeks, but can't see him anywhere in the Swamp. A good chance that Cataclysm has taken him out :(

Ongeku

This quest was marked obsolete by Blizzard and cannot be obtained or completed.

Maintain your reputation with the Gelkis, and bring a Draenethyst Shard to Uthek the Wise in the Gelkis Village in Desolace.

Description

The earth whispers many secrets to those who listen. One secret I hear is of a red crystal. It is called draenethyst, and it is new to our earth. It comes from a place where mountains fly, and where demons rule.

Bring me a shard of draenethyst, and it will make my magic strong! The shard is in a place called the Swamp of Sorrows, held by the lost one Ongeku.
