Cords to the Lake are 93.2,26.

And the Flowers are pretty easy to find, cords are 17,11 (Roughly).

All you do is collect 4 Flowers, then go to the lake and use them and a little person will show up on lilly pads and talk for a little bit then you will be able to collect the sword which will be on the opposite lilly pad of the person.

The Winter Hyacinth grows from ice on the Ironwall Dam and the Decrepit Flow in northwestern Crystalsong Forest. Pick four of them and go to Drak'Mar Lake, which is in northeastern Dragonblight on the border with both Grizzly Hills and Zul'Drak. Go to the middle of the ring of floating objects and use the hyacinths. The Maiden of Drak'Mar will appear and after a short dialog, the Blade of Drak'Mar will spawn next to her. Loot it to get the completion.

This quest, along with The Edge Of Winter, and A Blade Fit For A Champion, is one of three weapon-fetching dailies available to Argent Tournament Aspirants and Valiants. Each faction has its own version, though they're identical aside from the specific quest NPC. This particular quest is for Alliance Aspirants. The Horde equivalent is here.

After completing A Champion Rises, quests open up allowing you to repeat the valiant stage of daily quests for the other factions with which you have not yet earned the right to champion.

1. Go to (70, 76) in Icecrown. On the the ground you will find "Winter Hyancinth". You will need to collect a total of 4 of these.

2. Go to (93,26) in Dragonblight and use the stack of flowers you just picked. You have to use the stack of flowers within the circle outlined with the purple floating boys.

3. Pick up and the item that spawns on the lilies.

4. Swim out (or cast water walking) and fly back to Arcanist Taelis at the tournament camp (76, 19 in Icecrown).

5. Receive your 2 badges.

Edit:
It appears the item looted is non consumable. Eg more than one person can loot it with or without the possession of the Hyacinth. Very useful if you are farming Dragon Fin.

It is possible to loot the sword if somebody else turns in the flowers. So if you're feeling lazy, just sit by the maiden and wait for somebody else to turn in the flowers and loot it. Don't worry, though, you aren't stealing anything because the quest items stays around after being looted.

1. The Decrepit Flow in North-western Crystalsong Forest is where Winter Hyacinth can be found.

2. Fly up to Dalaran and take FP to Light's Breach in Zul'Drak, (closest FP to the lake where we need to go)

3. Then fly or walk down to North-eastern Dragonblight in the lake between Dragonblight and Grizzly Hills.

4. right-click on the blade and pick it up

5. Fly back to the Argent Tournament camp site in North-eastern Icecrown

Do Not use the flowers in the circle in the lake if the female troll NPC is already there. If someone else has just done this quest she will still be kneeling on the leaves, and using the flowers will do nothing, or at most make her despawn, and leave you with no quest sword to loot. Wait for her to despawn. I don't know quite how long that takes, but it didn't seem long.

I managed to screw this up a bit the first time I did it. I didn't realize she wasn't supposed to be there when you first arrive, I used the flowers while right beside her, and nothing happened. Well she despawned but that may be a coincidence. Had to go back to northwest Crystalsong to collect more flowers.

Funny thing: I flew along when i saw she was already there. Saw something clickable while moving my mouse over her (no offense girls^^), clicked and got the weapon without having any flowers'n stuff.

You just go to the Decrepit Flow (or Ironwall Dam if you are in Icecrown), get four lots of the flowers, they're on the rocks. Then fly to Windrunner's Overlook, mount up and fly over to the lake. There's a ring of lily-pads with lanterns on them, use the flowers and a troll will appear, sitting on a lily-pad. She thanks you for the offering blah blah blah and the on the lily-pad next to her is the sword =D. Fly to Wintergarde Keep of Windrunner's Overlook and fly to The Tounament Grounds.

Listen, strange women lying in ponds, distributing sword is no basis for a system of promotion. Being a Valiant derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony. You can't expect to become a Valiant just 'cause some watery tart threw a sword at you. I mean, if I went round saying I was a Valiant just 'cause some moisten bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

It is possible to pick up the weapon if someone else offer the Winter Hyacinth before you, even if he/she is not in your group.

This quest can be completed without Cold Weather Flying.
Your loaned flying mount will allow you to fly in the area of Icecrown where the flowers are collected.
Just don't fall off in the water on the Crystalsong Forest side.

Oh, and by the way...left-click the flowers if you're the type of player who drops quest items like these onto an action bar. I was standing there on the lake /facepalm-ing for about an hour after realizing what I was doing wrong.

A total of three dailies can be completed at the Aspirant rank (beginner rank of the Argent Tournament):

Two given daily: Learning the Reins and Training in the Field

Along with one of three given randomly per day: A Blade Fit for a Champion, A Worthy Weapon or The Edge of Winter.

On your third day as an Aspirant, or when you reach 15x Aspirant's Seals, you can complete the quest Up To The Challenge. You can then begin training with your factions' Grand Champion as a Valiant.

If you alt-tab to do something else for a few seconds, and don't alt-tab back in time, she'll despawn and you'll have to go get more flowers, unlike several of the other blade quests that just put the item directly into your inventory.

This quest has been giving a "there is no loot" error when trying to pick the winter hyacinth's at ironwall dam. Someone else told me that it works if you pick the ones on little islands out in the water and sure enough, it does.

Quest seem bugged. Was there today and no flowers were spawning any where near the dam wall or the floating islands. Even went to the location where the maiden spawns and no hyacinth flowers were spawning any where.

Tried this quest again today, and it is no longer bugged. Both the flowers on the ice and on the side of the hill are gatherable.

7.1.5 - While this quest is annoying with all the flying around, hopefully if you read this it can save you some time. In order to get the sword from the lady in the lake you will need to get Winter Hyacinth first. Do not just grab one and head over to the lake as you need 4 of them for the offering. These can be found directly south of the Argent Tournament Grounds in the Ironwall Damn (71,75) / Decrepit Flow. (17,14). these are all over the ground on the border of the two zones. (Icecrown / Crystalsong Forest). Once you have the 4 Hyacinth, head to 93,25 Dragonblight and you will find a circle in the water. Right click the flowers and she appears and shortly after puts the sword on a leaf and lets you take it.

Our champions have taken a liking to ancient weapons produced here in Northrend.

I've heard the bards telling tales of travelers offering winter hyacinths to a lonely maiden in return for gifts. Those hyacinths grow only on the ice flowing from the Ironwall Dam, on Crystalsong Forest's northwestern border with Icecrown. Gather the flowers and take them to the circle of lamps in Drak'Mar Lake in northeastern Dragonblight, near Zul'Drak and Grizzly Hills. Ask the lonely maiden for a worthy blade.
