This quest can be obtained at level 74—or at least accepted from a 76 who shared it, which is what happened in my group.

Soloed as a 77 Rogue.

Just stealth around the instance looking for tablets leaning up against the walls, usually in corners, wait for patrol to pass and take item. Got spotted once, i vanished, no trouble.

Took off gear, died on purpose, ran back and entered instance, put gear back on, turned around and walked out.

This quest can be solo'd at 75 without fighting any mobs. Taking the SE entrance there is a tablet within reach that can be looted without pulling the two mobs. Loot, run out, reset, repeat. It takes a while since the reset cap is 5 per hour, but it can be done. : )

Contrary to what Wowhead says, this is not a chain. It can be accepted without the first part.

Solo-able by anyone with a bit of time on their hands and are level 78+ (I didn't try before this level). There is a tablet just before the first pull of mobs. If you inch forward to this tablet you won't aggro the mobs and will be able to pick it up. Just takes a really long time for the instance to reset the spawn of this tablet. So if you can't find a group, just sneak in pick it up and do some quests, then come back after a while and pick it up again, rinse and repeat (sometimes reseting the instance does re-spawn the tablet so try that as well).

Solo'd this as an 80 Frost DK. Like everyone else has been saying scooch close to the first tablet and you can grab it without aggro. Next turn the corner and head for the second, you'll pull aggro just fight them off till you build 60 runic power. Pop Hungering Cold and freeze them in place. Grab the tablet and make a run back up to the exit ( I used Unholy Prescence to outrun them).

Once your out reset and do it again, just wait for HG to renew and heal up. Nice and Easy.

lvl 80 hunter. Enter south entrance (80.89 28.47). Sneak up to the first tablet behind two trolls. Make a run for 2nd tablet to the right and feign death. Go down stairs hugging right wall and grab another tablet. While you're on the little arena floor, run back under the two trolls (they'll argo) to 4th tablet. feign death. Continue around the arena a bit to the next set of stairs (you've been traveling clock-wise). There's a troll there (Moorabi), but agro him and feign death. He dissapears for a bit. Final two tablets are right there (left and right of Moorabi). You're done. Hearth out or feign death your way back out.

solo'd as a 77 shad priest .although it will take a little longer it doesnt require LFG. go in the south entrance and run down to the 2 trolls. mindsoothe them boht and run in and get as many tablets that are there.(mostly 1 or 2) after collecting them mindsoothe and bail. rinse and repeat.

keep in mind you have to reset every time you do it.

Another shadowpriest tactic. Use MC and let those two trolls kill eachothers. You can pretty much controll when they die so You can nuke the remaining troll with SW:D.
After those two kills, loot all tables and exit instance. You get all 6 tables with one reset.

There don't seem to be any "Prot Warrior" reports on this so i'll create one once i've done it. Are the other tablets far in, or do you have to reset it all the time?

This method should work for any class any lvl (that can accept quest) and you will get 2 tablets for each reset so you don't have to wait for an hour. No CC or combat necessary.
Step 1: remove clothing that has durability.
Step 2: If the tablet you can grab by the door with no agro is there, then great grab it. If not, no worries.
Step 3: agro the 2 trolls and run back up to the top of the stairs.
Step 4: just before they get to you, jump in water.
Step 5: run in and grab your 2 tablets.
Step 6: die :D.
Reset, repeat. I found this strategy after dying the second time i tried to take the 2 mobs on. If you're a rogue or druid or mage or anybody that can go invis, or sap, FD or other fun tricks then by all means, knock yourself out. But this method will work w/ no CC or combat whatsoever. It's a little tricky timing it right but i was able to get it down within the 5 reset limit. The tablets do change places with each reset but look around because each time i did it, i was able to grab 2. the places i found them were: right by the door, can grab without agro; just inside the door; over by the weapons to the right of where the dudes are sparring; on the other side of the room in the corner of where the dudes are sparring. was able to get all of these without pulling any additional agro.

Soloed as 75 Rogue. Died twice of my own stupidity (wrong bar, used chicken pet instead of distract.. and went AFK on a narrow ledge, lol).

Didn't reset.. was fun.. great rewards too. 43,200 experience, and a nice ring.

Also soloable as a warrior (was lvl 79 but could solo if I was 77 or something) just go in loot 3 tablets (right side) use intimidating shout and run out. Wait for CD repeat the process.

As said above: The NPC listed that "starts" this quest is incorrect, Chronicler Bak'Kini is the correct NPC.

For those who have never quested in Zul'Drak and are worried as to whether or not these quests have any sort of prerequisite, other than being level 74, I know for sure that there isn't. I just went to Chronicler Bak'Kini on my level 77 Shaman after never doing any Zul'Drak quests and got both One of a Kind and For Posterity (which are Gundrak dungeon quests) without a problem. If you're one of the people like me who just want to get as many dungeon quests done as possible without going out of your way by doing any long chains, these are the kind of quests you're looking for.

This quest does not count towards the The Empire of Zul'Drak achievement. In fact, none of the quests that take you to Gundrak, even if they are completed at an NPC in Zul'Drak, count towards that achievement.

Soloed as 78 Druid without any fight. Done in less than 5 min. I entered the instance two times, getting 3 tablets each time.

+Enter southern entrance (81,28) and go down ramp.
+Engage Prowl ability.
+Sneak past first two guards, making hard right, next to doorway.
+You will see a tablet to the right, next to the steps that go down to the center of the room. Get right next to the tablet to loot it. Wait till CD is done and use Prowl again.
+Go down steps. Straight ahead you should see another tablet. Again, get right next to it to gather. And, again, wait for CD to use Prowl again.
+Look across room and you will see another tablet. Go there and do the same.
+Leave instance, reset and reenter to get the same three.

I soloed this as well, as a protection paladin in mediocre gear. Mostly blues, heirloom chest and shoulders, and some level 70 cobalt items. I was level 77.
As mentioned, all tablets are in Moorabi's room.
I went in, killed the 2 trolls and picked up 4 tablets on that side. Then I snuck past the trolls fighting in the middle and killed the 3 trolls on the other side. The healer was annoying, I was sloppy with interrupts so he healed himself twice.
There are 2 tablets on that side as well, giving you the required 6.
Accidentally aggroed the fighting trolls on my way back, bubbled and ran out. One run, didn't have to reset.

As long as you can self heal or stealth, I reckon you shouldn't have any problems soloing this quest. Even if you dont have heals, as long as you dish out enough damage you can probably do it as well.

Note: On the first side, with the first 2 mobs, there is one tablet just below the ledge, in the corner to the left of the boss. You can reach this while still standing on the plateu.

Just thought it should be mentioned, for classes that don't have stealth you can solo this quest by using Lesser Invisibility Potion or Invisibility Potion and resetting the instance. Engineer's can also use Gnomish Cloaking Device.

This quest is still obtainable and able to be completed as of 4.3.4.

The rewards suck if you're an agility user as it's the only primary stat not represented in the choices.

Perhaps if we can record the events clearly, we might prevent future generations from traveling down da same path.
