The banners appear to be most commonly around the arena pit at (30, 28), and major Vrykul buildings like Ufrang's Hall (38,24) and Halls of the Ancenstors (28, 46).

the banners can be bburnt while a druid is in flight form, so no fighting needed, just fly towards then, hover over the ground so the melee won't attack you and burn

they seem to be all over the place, and are found just outside building entrances

On a regular flying mount I am not able to burn the banners.

The "You are mounted" error comes up.

Naturally you cannot set the banners ablaze while you are on a flying mount.

There are 3 other quests in the same village, this is the hardest one to finish due to the lack of banners and slow respawn. Make sure you work on this one first, by the time you get 10 banners all the other quests will be finished anyway.

Spawn rate is worthless... I did the quest at 4 am on an extremely low pop server, still took me 20 minutes and I knew where the spawn points were

I have done dailies on the Isle faster than in took me to do this quest, even if this was a daily as the quest suggests I for one surly would not do it.

Jotunheim is a place in norway, and seeing as we had vikings and i live in Norway it's not hard for me to see the connection with the names.

So, this is probably a dumb question, but what do i need to get to set these things on fire? I have checked all my bags, and all my bank slots, and i dont have any quest item relating to this. Thanks for the help.

kk so only 1 thing the spawn rate is really terrible i did it in 20 mins this quest only,so don't get frustrated,but finish the other quests furst.

To let others not have the confusion I had. There is not an item you get to burn the flags you just click the flags to burn it.

Took me about 1.5hours to get all the flags during peak hours competing with several DKs running around. I found one and camped it. If your having trouble finding these when there are a lot of other people around, find one, and just sit at its spawn point. The spawn time is about 5-10minutes it seems.

Just completed this quest in under 10 minutes. I had no problem with the respawn rate and just used my epic flyer to fly around the camps and the banners were everywhere. Not sure why everyone is complaining about this, it was a very easy quest.

Only confusion I had was I thought something would be in my bags to set them on fire. There isn't, you can just walk up to them and click on the gear.

I believe that some of us r having a problem with this quest because it does respawn slowly.. Its nice when no one else is doing the quest and the flags r all up and waiting but that doesn't happen all the time. I'm doing this quest as i type and i'm waiting in a corner for respawn.. May be here for a while.

Note this!

I had to abandon the quest and get it again to make it working. But it wasn't the whole solution. I had to wait like 24hours before being able to do that quest. It was bugged; can't click on the gate at the Water Terror and those banners.

So i passed up a day or two, and then tonight, those quests were working just fine. Found my 10 banners without any problems, click it, burned them and complete the quest.

I think it's should be noted that this quest is an herbalist's dream come true. You will fly a million laps around this city before you get to burn all ten flags, and in that time, you will spot MANY lichbloom and icethorn nodes. And, as you know, some of them will also carry a frost lotus with them. So as much as it sucks to fly around for all this time, at least there is something else being accomplished at the same time.

Just fly on the top of the banner, dismount and burn it. No fighting at all :)

First of all Fly to The Jotunheim's Town, Then Fly up on the Flags and then Right Click, Then you avoid to get hit by the Mobs. (Notice) Their Next to the House Entrances (Notice)

A forewarning that this quest is indeed difficult if many others are doing it as well. I found it to take a longer time than I would've expected. Also you'll have to deal with several Vyrkul most likely whilst doing this quest.

This quest sure is annoying based on it's lack of banners and slow respawn time. However, I found a lot of banners on the other side of the mine at roughly (23,55). Also, they are scattered around usually in front of prominent buildings.

Do not expect to complete this quest immediately. As I opened up all the quests in the area I keep it in my log and vandalized as I went along. Best way to do this quest without getting frustrated ;) For me, that is the best strategy.

You can still mount up while you're that high up if you dont move after it despawns.

You can fly onto the top of the banners, dismount and burn them, so again, no fighting needed

Hmmm, there seems to be a lot of people who can't find these banners. It's simple. They are all over the place, but especially around the border of the cliffs. The only reason you might not see them all over the place is because it's more than likely a common quest a lot of people do and other people got there first. The same goes for landing and burning the banners without a fight. Someone else must have killed the mobs that stand RIGHT next to every single one. You can't avoid a fight if they are there and they almost always are.

Granted, the last time I did this was at 6 AM Eastern time, so no one else was around. I had to fight at every banner, but there were a LOT of banners.
