Edit: Once you do this, the Frenzyheart's become hostile. In fact, one of the elites killed me while I was alt-tabbed to post this. You guys owe me big time. :D

*WARNING*

When you do this quest your reputation with the Frenzyheart Tribe goes to hated.

Follow through with all the quests.

When you get to the quest to kill Artruis the Heartless (http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=28659) (the quest is A Hero's Burden - http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=12581) and get to Artruis there is a Frenzyheart and Oracles npc encased in ice.

When Artruis gets to 30% health he bubbles and the NPC's pop free and start attacking you. What one you kill determines if you go with the Frenzyheart or The Oracles. If you kill The Oracles one you go back to Honored with Frenzyheart. If you kill the Frenzyheart you stay friendly with The Oracles.

Check the reputation items for each before you choose what one to kill.

if you fly off the croc will despawn and you have to wait a few minuts before you can talk to the injured guy to make it respawn

I have the quest but the Injured Rainspeaker Oracle not responding when I am clicking on him. Not sure if this is a bug or if I am doing somthing wrong?

OKay wtf is up with that?
It was a turn in for the quest my faction gave me... i talk to him I got attacked. I killed what was attacking me and now I AM HOSTILE WITH THE FACTION I WANT!

yeah this sucks now i have to figure out how to go the other direction. And i speant the last hour or so working on rep with the Frenzyheart Tribe.

make sure you kill the croc and the injured oracle that ? mark is not the turn in you want if you are wanting to grind Frenzyheart rep.

My post from earlier... I was a lil ticked off...

Now after having gone through all the quests I see that this is the way to get quests done with both factions and that the quest at the end...A Hero's Burden where you will want to kill both Artuis the Heartless and...

For Frennzyheart Tride rep... kill the oracle thats in the iceblock.
For The Oracles rep... kill the frenzyheart thats in the iceblock.

This actually makes switching between the reps easy as A Hero's Burden is a daily quest. So don't freak out when the rep changes when you go to talk to the injured oracle.

Ok, I took quest by mistake and lost my honored rep to hostile and then didn't read quest and flew away and didn't save the oracle guy so I abandon it, now npc don't respawn, frenzyheart are hostile with me, the oracles got no quests for me and to make things worse I can't even complete the achievement for quests in the basin because I can't seem to find any more, so if you get quest DON'T ABANDON IT. Thanks again blizz for making such a screwy quest idea, it should pop up a warning box, if you complete this you will become hostile with frenzyheart...

edit: right, if you managed to abandon the quest like I did, go to 58,64 and there is injured oracle thing again, but you have to talk to it before it offers you quest, I was flying round for a long time looking for quest on map before I figured that out.

If you are a jewelcrafter you might want to take advantage of this quest and pick up http://www.wowhead.com/?item=41567 while you are friendly with the Oracles.

I wonder if it has anything to do with that i am Honoted with Frenzyheart Tribe?

I have only did the the quests that "hellomynameis" stated.

There are several Injureed Rainspeaker Oracles around the area. Some you can talk to, and some you can't. Just keep searching, until you find one you can talk to.

this is seriously lame, blizz shouldnt make us have to do quests for the frenzyheart just so we can get oracles rep. rather irritaing if you ask me.

I started the Frenzyheart and got switched to Oracle (yesterday) but now (today) Oracle does not have any quests for me and Frenzyheart are hostile. Killing Artruis and Jaloot did not open a quest most likely because I had not unlocked it yet. Any ideas?

If some one else tags your crock that spawns you can't complete the quest.

Quest appears bugged. Screen is just blank when you try to complete after killing the croc.

So I didn't do this quest the moment I got it. I wanted to review what the differences were. I came back to it a while later. I took the quest again, found one of the injured Oracles and spoke to it. I fought the croc, and then the Oracle got to it's feet... and then nothing. I can't talk to him again, or finish the quest. I tried on a few different Oracles, all with the same problem. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a bug? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! :-)

Actual loc of the oracle is 58.4, 64.6.

What happens when you abandom this quest on accident and then the Frenzyribe where you get it turns your reputation into hatered... then how do you get the quest back? :( HELP

I started out with the Frenzyheart Tribe (by accident) and ended up with the oracles. No biggie. However, when I went to do "A Hero's Burden", the party decided that the oracle would die. My rep with Oracle went unchanged and I am still hated by Frenzyheart. I also can't do any rep quests. Suggestions?

If someone could help me I would really appreciate it. I'm guessing that during my questing to 80 I somehow messed up getting some quests with either Frenzyheart or Oracles. I've tried talking to an injured rainspeaker oracle and I've tried killing Pitch, both to no avail. Any suggestions on how to proceed? Thank you.

I find the design of the faction switching extremely confusing and frustrating, especially that you are forced to switch a few times(4 times if you want to do Frenzy exalted->Oracles exalted) during the quest line.

It feels like you worked on quests to build up your reputation and without any of your control its suddenly gone.

Now I know later you can switch again, but initially I saw this as a big fkup from my part and I blamed myself for not reading the quest text properly. I disagree with this design.

i was going to be Friendly and that with the Oracles BUT, iv done 3 quests at The Frenzyribe Faction :S

I am a bit confused about the prerequisites to this. I did some quest for the Frenzyheart while leveling, and can't remember what I've done so far. But now when I go looking for Zepik the Gorloc Hunter, I can only find him frozen in the cave with Artruis the Heartless, and can't get any quests from him. I can't pick up any new quests from High-Shaman Rakjak (though I have done some with him before, meaning I just haven't done the prerequisites to this one in particular). Is there some other location of Zepik or am I missing something here? Getting really frustrated.

EDIT: Figured it out. In case anyone else is having the same problem, Zepik is summoned using a horn you can pick up from Elder Harkek, if you've done the prerequisite quests before. I was confused by the other version of Zepik in the cave to switch factions, who does not give quests.

If you stop here you can't get Into the Basin because all quests but Oracle's ones sum 65

To start these quests and get rep with the Oracles, you need to be level 77. The quartermaster sells a trinket that requires level 70. The Frenzyheart's qm sells one, too. Anyone know why? Am I missing something here?

To begin the chain quest that leads to thisques you must find GekGek he is tracker outside of the village around 50,76 him and 2 other hunters have a panther cornered you must kill the panther (not sue if its a panther or lion same thing tho lol) once you kill it Gekgek will yell at you fo taking his kill and then you get a quest from him to go to frenzyheart hill to talk to the shamen to be his slave this starts the chain quests :)

Guys i got a problem...

ive done the Quest A hero's burden and done it wrong (i killed the wrong one...) Now im back at having Oracle at hated and Frenzyheart back at Honored who can i change this? cause i was farming for the mount.

Omg im right now hostile with oracles but i want to get friendly, but there arent quests nowhere i looked in frenzyheart hill and both oracle villages nowhere... i did that gorilla quest but now cant find any quests :(

SOULTUON: Inability to speak with Oracle after not killing croc or some other mess up.

I put this in a reply to somebody's comment, but thought it'd be much more helpful as it's own comment:

Just abandon the quest, (don't go back and pick it up again), you'll then be able to interact with the Oracle and you get the "pick up hand" dialogue and initiate the croc fight, kill croc, and off to the next escort quest.

after i finished A hero's burden quest ... i clicked by mistake on zepik the gorlok hunter, so all the rep swap back to Frenzyheart ...
i wonder if i could change back to Oracles ..

Most of these comments have nothing to do with the quest but are discussing getting rep with the Frenzyheart or the Oracles.
The best help for this quest that I found was from Anouska: "There are several Injureed Rainspeaker Oracles around the area. Some you can talk to, and some you can't. Just keep searching, until you find one you can talk to."
I had to "help" 4 Oracles (and kill 4 crocs) before I was able to talk the Oracle and proceed.
