Yeah Comfirmed i was just randomly killing Onslaught people for a quest and The Path of Redemption Droped. At 87.35

It isn't the best drop rate, I killed 12 of them before I got it.
But you can do the qest "the return of the crusade?" when you are there. You find them at the camps around 84|38

I had to complete the quest chain that starts with Imprints on the Past before I could pickup this quest.

All you need to do is head to their camp at 85.41, and kill a few onslaught infantry, it dropped on my 3rd kill. but be careful not to agro other mobs, also get /script DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage("Shift-click this to place a link into a chat message: \124cffffff00\124Hquest:12476:73\124h\124h\124r");

All of the following have a chance to drop the Path of Redemption:

The only mobs in the Onslaught Base Camp (Other than Onslaught Commander Iustus) that will not reward the Book are the Onslaught Bloodhounds.

If you have this quest and travel into Grizzly Hills, the quest marker for this quest appears on that zone's map at 87.8, 39.4, off the eastern shore of the zone, implying you can obtain the Path of Redemption out there. I flew up and around, then took my warlock down through the watery depths, and besides a few entirely empty shipwrecks, there's nothing down there, not even mobs, let alone an Onslaught quest item.

Just a little glitch, I guess!

Description

"The Path of Redemption," ever heard of it? It is allegedly a journal that holds the prophetic ramblings of High General Abbendis of the Scarlet Onslaught. Within that book can be found the motivations and goals of the Scarlet zealots - not to mention a whole lot of insanity.

Venture to Onslaught Base Camp, northeast of Wintergarde Keep, and recover a copy of "The Path of Redemption" from one of the Onslaught soldiers.
