The mobs for this quest are located >outside< the cave (RTFQ) - after you receive the quest from Serinar, head outside (skellies and necrolytes around 38,31).

Be sure to do "No Place To Run" (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=12261) while you're on this quest. It spawns several of each kind of monster you need to kill for this quest, so no reason to run around looking for them more than necessary. You get it from the same NPC.

At the time of posting this, the Smolding Skeletons only seem to give under 100 exp per kill, without any weakness to compensate. Something to bear in mind when doing this quest

This qs is preatty hard because the skeltons inflect 200 dmg every 2 sec when u stay near him and for a rogue is hard.The skeletons and the others are in the cave and ouside.

Blizzard should really fire those quest designers who have absolutely no clue of Warcraft lore, or at least order them to read WoWWiki for some hours.

for some reason when i kill the skeleton or necrolyte it doesnt give me the credit for killing it....any ideas?

Possibly a reference to the Bon Jovi song You Give Love a Bad Name. The two quests, No One to Save you and No Place to Run are the lyrics

Or it is probably a reference to the phrase "No one to save you".
Not everything has to be a reference, Blizzard is just playing with your minds.

This quest is a part of a small questline

The Obsidian Dragonshrine given by Nalice (top of Wyrmrest Temple) hand-in @ Serinar (inside Obsidian Dragonshrine)

The questline gives approximately 1620 reputation towards The Wyrmrest Accord (without any bonus)

The cultists beg for mercy when they get low on health, which is a little out-of-character for the Cult of the Damned but was greatly appreciated by my DK who was starting to feel a little homesick.
