Look for a large white crocolisk roaming the rivers of the Quagmire or the Dragonmurk. He has a pretty big patrol route, so you will likely be doing some running. He's level 45, non-elite, so finding him is the hardest part of the quest.

And if you forget where to turn this in, the guy is on Hunter Rise in Thunder Bluff.

The stretch of river leading north/northeast from STONEMAUL RUINS on your map is where you need to be, he swims up and down that. He is a huge brute, a dull white crocodile that is unmistakable, just check the screen and you'll not miss him. Easily found with Track Beasts as a Hunter.

47, 56 is where he met his end for me.

Easily killed him with a level 41 rogue and I don't think he would have been difficult at 40, either. Don't be afraid to take this guy on even if the quest is red or orange.

As previously stated, easier then the level suggests. Did him as a 38 feral druid. DPS in cat form, at low hp, return to caster mode, hibernate, heal, back to cat and continue DPS. Repeat as necessary.

Did this quest with ease as a lvl 43 shammy! the map cords given are correct! but u can find him all the way along the river aswell i found him at 46.55. good luck

he passes by the river behind Tabetha's house, so if you camp there you will eventually encounter him.

Got him just east of Tabetha's house at 57,56. Was pretty easy to find. Just rode around spamming a /target Deadmire macro and there he was. Easy kill. Good luck!

I've seen Deadmire a couple times now and even killed him for the Horde quest. He seems to be level 41 now, not level 45. The quest is still listed as level 45 though.

Deadmire is level 41 now after patch 2.3 even though the quest stays red. He is a pushover.

The quest now gives 5550 exp.

i just killed him and when i fought him he was only lvl 41 soloed as 38 hunter no prob, the person above was right he patrols the stretch of water going north/northeast from stonemaul ruins

Is he bugged or something? I spent an hour running around the quagmire spamming /tar deadmire, and nothing.

He is now level 41, and I found him lurking right outside of Tabitha's Hut to the north.

I found him at 45,61... a little south of Tabetha's Farm and a little north of the Stonemaul Ruins.

He is 41, and my frost mage is 41 as well. Quest remains orange in my log.

Very strange.

Easily defeatable though! He's a little bigger than the other crocs in the area, and is white, as has been previously mentioned.

oh yea, finding Deadmire is a pain in the A, but an easy kill none the less, balances itself out with a big search for a easy opponent, good luck players.

47.0, 53.8 was where I tagged him, almost directly north of Tabetha's. Level 41.

Deadmire is a white big croc roaming from Dragonmire to quagmire. 41 lvl non-elite. I stayed at Tabeethas farmsteed killing other crocs till he would come but if you are inpaitient you can start searching him threw put the swamp. I killed him with my 40lvl rogue in 9 seconds... Not much of a fight!

its easy even at lvl 35 hunter if you set a trap, use your abilities, and bring a lvl 40 buddy. xD

I found him two times arround 48,55.

Kill him first time, then remember that is a quest mob.
Use hearthstone to Orgrimmar, fly to Thunder Bluff, take the quest, return to Mudsprocket and finally go to Tabethas's Farm with mount.
Just 2 minutes to found him in the same place with anoter lvl 40 croc.

I won't say he's easy to find, but the macro works when you're closer to him and just haven't spotted him yet.

I've found him 3 times so far, in different locations, but all are close together. It seems his favorite locale is close to and just north of the Stonemaul Ruins. When I tamed him on my hunter, he was at this little donut looking island within sight of the Ruins, to the north. When I killed him for the quest, he was in sight of Tabetha's Farm in the Quagmire, to the northeast of the Ruins. The very first time I saw him when someone else killed him first, he was directly in between these 2 places.

On the map, I've circled the stretch of water I found him in all 3 times.

Currently lvl 41 non-elite, quest gives 4600xp, 250 TB rep, and a few points for guild rep.

Found him at 47,58 (just southeast of Tabetha's Farm) and heading north. His color scheme stands out from the other daggermaw crocolisks around - they are sort of green-brown,and he's very light, almost white.

Description

Deadmire is an ancient crocolisk in Dustwallow marsh. And it is his time to die.
