Kill those gnome diggers in the quarry. The bombs drop rate is like 80-90%.

First you need kill Beryl Reclaimer to get bombs, you need get 3 bombs.

Plataforms can reach at the position:
West Platform Destroyed - 50,33
East Platform Destroyed - 52,35
Norht Platform Destroyed - 52,32

they usually only drop one bomb at a time. so you need to collect 3 bombs total.

Just as a heads up, you need to be on the cliff OUTSIDE of the quarry to get the two platforms on the left hand side (the two that are the closest together.)

just an update, horde can in fact do this quest as well. seems most WOTLK quests that are nuetral have ally only tags on here.

From what I understand, it just means no one from the Horde side has submitted info for the quest through the WH addon.

Okay, now because noone ever decided to tell me I needed a Gnomish Grenade, I was freaking out because all i was picking up were Cores of Malice.

So yeah. The bombs are GNOMISH GRENADES!

just a note, if someone else has already set one of these on fire, wait until the fire goes out to do yours, or it won't count.

these are the floating platforms which you can see from the interior of the quarry. to reach 2 (east and west) you will need to be on the ledge above the quarry. you can throw your grenade from the ledge. to reach the north platform, you need only stand under it in the quarry and throw your grenade.

grenades are looted from the little gnome diggers in the quarry.

The male gnome diggers look an awful lot like Lemmings from a distance.

All you have to do is look up at the sky, (While on the cliff) get close to the platforms, and right click the gnomish grenade out of your inventory to chuck it at them. Only need 3 grenades, which drop from the gnome diggers in the valley.

What with Cold-Weather Flying being available to alts at level 68 now, I decided to make my own input.

It is possible to simply get all three grenades and fly onto each of the platforms in turn and throw them. No fuss about standign right, and you take no damage.

If you can fly...just land on the top of the platforms. Very easy!

Yes, much much more simple if you can fly because you can just land on the platforms and nuke them, miraculously not taking any fire dmg as it goes up around you! :-)

It appears that this quest is currently bugged. I have not dropped a single granade from about 100 gnomes.I sent a ticket, we will see in time.

Hampering Their Escape

Etaruk, outside the Coldrock Quarry, wants you to destroy the North Platform, the East Platform, and the West Platform.

	West Platform Destroyed

Description

I'm sure you've seen those blue and white platforms hovering over the quarry. They're the transportation the mage hunters used to land their forces here, and now they're loading them up with our artifacts and fragments of our statues.

We must stop them before they leave the quarry.

The small creatures digging in the quarry carry explosives. Take them and use them to destroy the three floating platforms. The leader keeps watch from a fourth, grounded platform, but we'll deal with him afterward.
