They can be found in the Coldrock Quarry just east of Amber Ledge.

The hunters have a special attack called Focused that is a stacking debuff. Each stack increases damage taken by 5%, up to 20 stacks. This debuff can become brutal when fighting multiple targets, so it is recommended to kill the beryl treasure hunters before any adds .

I really hate this type of quest line. First you go someplace and kill something. Then you have to go back and kill something you killed a dozen of the first time anyway, but it didn't count. Then back ONE MORE TIME for something else that you probably already did.

I remember a cousin of mine and I were on this quest as we went around killing them I said "These guys got the same name as grandma!" My grandmother heard this, and came over to look, and even commened that it was spelled correctly.

Of course, now, when I level an alt I feel kinda guilty when I go around killing them, and feel even worse when you have to torture one of them in a later quest.

Reclaiming the Quarry

Etaruk, camped near the entrance to the Coldrock Quarry, wants you to kill 12 Beryl Treasure Hunters.

Description

You're a welcome sight, <class>. My name is Etaruk, and I used to be a craftsman here at the Coldrock Quarry.

My companions and I were preparing a new set of statues for their last set of rites when we saw those mysterious blue platforms come flying over the plateau.

When they landed, the mages they carried swarmed the quarry, murdering my fellows and plundering the quarry. If we don't stop them, they'll destroy our statues and make off with our artifacts. Will you help me defeat the invaders?
