Once you are on your ram mount, simply ride to the four areas of Orgrimmar indicated on this map. As you ride by the flags at each point, your character will automatically say something and you will gain credit for the bark. No emote is necessary.

To complete this quest in a timely manner, make sure you don't ride your ram any faster than at a Canter. You'll need to slow down to a trot at one point to let your ram rest. I recommend starting at a Canter until your fatigue buff stacks to 90, then stop using the reins so you slow to a trot. Continue at a trot until your stacked buff wears down to around 30 stacks, then speed back up to a Canter. You should finish with roughly 30 seconds to spare if you hit the bark locations in this order:

Auction House
Valley of Honor
Valley of Wisdom
Valley of Spirits

After the Valley of Spirits, simply jump down the cliff near the Hall of Legends and run back out of Orgrimmar to the vendor from which you accepted the quest.

Brewfest quest. You need to Bark at near Auction House, Valley of Honor, Valley of Wisdom, Valley of Spirits (each zone has 3 Brewfest flags) When you close enough to the flags your character will Bark. You don't need to say & /yell or any emote for Bark.

The easiest way to complete this quest is to keep your ram at a steady canter and in this order go to the 'Auction House' flags then 'Valley Of Honor' then 'Valley Of Wisdom' by then your rams fatigue should be around 80 - 95 so reduce your speed to trot until the fatigue level falls to around 80, Speed back up to canter and get the flags at 'Valley Of The Spirits'. Run out the entrance of Orgrimmar to the apple bucket near the tent on the left where the ram racing takes place, once your ram has eaten the apples the fatigue will go away, Then you can gallop the rest of the way!

"We've recently applied a number of hotfixes for the new Brewfest holiday event.

As we’ve seen a large number of issues stem from the Dark Iron attacks on Brewfest, both for our players and the game service, they have been temporarily disabled. At this time we’re still in the process of evaluating the situation and developing a better solution; however we hope to see the Dark Iron dwarves resume their attacks as soon as possible.

Until then we’ve increased the ticket rewards for the daily "Bark For..." quests from 15 to 40 tickets, and for the keg delivery quest which can be completed every 12 hours we've increase the value of each keg to 3 tickets. This still allows everyone to gain tickets at a rate comparable to what we intended the average player to be able to achieve before the Dark Iron attacks were disabled. For some players, especially on realms where tickets from the attacks were difficult to achieve, the amount of tickets received per-day could actually be increased.

As the Dark Iron attacks have stopped, we’re removing the ability to obtain a “Complimentary Brewfest Sampler” by /waving at Brewfest barkers and maidens (this hotfix will be applied soon). This will remain disabled and should the attacks begin again the samplers will be obtained through alternate means.

We’ve also hotfixed the Brewfest goggles to remove their duration. They are now permanent! The duration timer will continue to show until the next patch, but it will not affect the permanence of the goggles.

Once you've gone through the fourth checkpoint.

You get the quest complete message on your screen

You can right click the Ram mount icon, and fire up your speedy mount (if you have one) and just ride back to collect your tickets

another thing, if you haven't noticed: if you have "check if flying" unchecked in your Interface Menu, you can time your Ram to end at 100% Exhaustion at the fourth flag. Use a skill then (to dismount) and use your usual mount to ride back. It saves some time to gallop the last two checkpoints.
EDIT: my bad, pardon: this trick should usually also work with any configuration of your interface. Just abort the mount by using a skill (haven't tested to cancel the ram-buff. It might abort the quest, im not sure)

NOTE: you WON'T get the credit for barking (actually you only bark at each checkpoint if you sit on the questram), but after you have "1/1" on all points, you can just use your normal mount and end the quest correctly.

The repeats on all these brewfest pages makes me think that no-one even reads other posts, but instead just posts what they wanted to in the first place, leaving useless coments behind, i cant TELL you how much this whole "canter till 90-you can mount after youve hit them all!"

~But on a side note, ive found it takes LONGER to hit the apple crate behind the rams and go full speed than it does to just return to the quest giver cantering. 30-45s remaining

This and the other Barking quests make my WoW crash. Every time. And I'm not the only one. I always need to disable my addons before I take this quest and its so annoying to do it every time.

2 things -
If you do this in a party, the share range is pretty wide. My husband and I do it where I go to Wisdom when he goes to Honor, and he shortcuts to Spirits through the cleft of shadows. We finish up with about 1 to 1:30 left.

If you choose to do this, don't count on Spirits to share properly, have each person go there themselves. My husband will get the objective completed, but will not actually get quest completion for some odd reason if he doesn't gain it himself.

Oh, and as an afternote - barking shares regardless of distillery (I can take Drohn's and he can take the troll one and the objectives share).

The barking objectives will not count towards the daily quest if you are in a raid.

I just rode the ram all through the Valley of Spirits and coudn't seem to trigger the Bark. This glitch made me fail the quest. Does anyone know where there is a trigger point in the Valley of Spirits for this quest?

It triggers the bark if you are following the road and just start the branch to the right through the main gate from Valley of Strength.

I discovered a trick that can make your run a bit quicker:

When you accelerate from Canter to Gallop (yellow to red) you have a brief period before the fatigue buff ticks.

With a bit of practice it is possible to push yourself to a gallop for just short enough a period of time that your fatigue buff does not tick before you slow back down to a canter.

The trick is to get yourself cantering, then hit your whip carefully so that you just push a gallop. Then let the gallop wear off, wait about a second and hit your whip once more (and keep repeating).

In the end you will tire at the cantering pace, but you will move at a speed somewhere between canter and gallop.

I have found that by doing this I can go past the Auction House, through Valley of Spirits and Valley of wisdom and get to the tunnel through the wall to the Valley of Honor before I have to slow to a trot (blue), whereas before I figured this trick out, I was only making it to the Valley of Spirits, forcing me to spend a lot more time at a trot. And I think that with a bit more practice I can probably get to the point where I can do a full run without ever slowing below a canter.

PS: It took a few mistakes to get the knack just right, and in the beginning I often accidentally got the gallop going a little too long and ticked the fatigue buff, which probably cost me a bit during those early runs, but now that I have timing sorted, I save easily 30 seconds a run, which adds up fast when you are doing this with multiple toons every day.

This quest is annoyingly slow. You wouldn't think it'd have killed them to put some apple baskets along the route to make this go faster.

Be on the look out for asshats who think it's funny to $%^& you over with this quest. Some Casting a buff spell on your char while riding the ram WILL kick you off it, making it impossible for you to complete the quest. Also, be careful of your own action bars, as accidently clicking anything will also kick you off the ram and screw you over.

A suggestion has been submitted to the Devs that they fix this issue, but that could take forever, so yeah.

You will need to either wait out the timer, or log out and back in to fail the quest, but you take accept it again without having to abandon it.
