First thing you want to do is head to the Northeastern part of the Firewing Point, head up the tower, use the translocation orb, and find/kill Sharth Voldoun. He'll drop The Final Code( http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29912 ) which you'll need to activate the mana bomb. Snag this and then head towards the middle of the base. Kill all the warlocks and other mobs guarding the mana bomb, click it, and viola, the bomb is triggered.

At the loc 73, 35 you need to use the Orb on the ledge. That will take you up top, continue up to the left and you'll find him standing there.

He does pretty good damage and heals himself when low.

The spawn time is 3-5 minutes. Pretty fast so don't worry if he gets ninjad or something.

Sharth is not elite, but has a ton of health. He is definitely soloable, but don't go into the fight expecting him to drop fast.

Leave it to blizzard not to even change the wording when they remove an entire quest that you use to have to do to get this one... never the less this guy was easy solo'ed 64 hunter got lucky with the bomb the area was being cleared for rep so walked right up

Soloed him as a 63 ret paladin. He's immune to Repentance, but Hammer of Justice still works on him. He's a 65 paladin that will heal and has plenty of HP.

I just soloed him right now, got my self prepped up. buzzard bites, inner fire, touch of weakness. and pre-bubbled hehe.

im a 64 shadow spec priest with +382 to shadow dmg.

as 64 lock i had a hard time with him. is his resist higher than normal for most mobs cuz i couldnt get anything to stick on him. ended up having to sacrifice the void and hit him hard with soul fire+shadow bolt+shadow burn before i could do enough damage to him to get past his heal.

Level 63 Priest (shadow), soloed - he seems to be immune to most snare effects, but not blackout. Pretty much a Paladin.

He's a non-elite but has around 10k hp. He heals but small heals.

I had an alliance rogue who was killing all the mobs, probably for the signets, so didn't have to bother killing the locks around the bomb, because they was already dead.

Dying is idd not a problem, as Phate01 explains.

For maximum lol, if you are a priest, drop sharth, stand on top of the nearby golden roof, face the courtyard (the circular thing with blue dots on the minimap), walk off (DONT JUMP FIRST) and levitate. Shield in the air, and cancel levitate right above the bomb, wait a sec for mobs before you hit fear, and immediately use the bomb, then shield and run. Worked for me first time and so fast XD

One REALLY important detail: exploding the mana bomb has a CASTING TIME. SO you can't just fear and use it, fear runs out before you get it off. You have to kill all the mobs around it.

when u done the q tooki yells something about you saved the place and some of the npc´s say a bit too then 1 of them puts out a keg where you can tap some brew from (think its made just for the fun)

When the mana bomb explodes it kills all the warlock mobs that are around it, unfortunately, you will not receive and experience for any of the warlocks killed in this way.

He took a little bit to take down but I'm a lvl 64 rogue - just bash the hell out of him. If you're a BE Mana Tap and Arcane Torrent will be your best friend for this. As well as taping Evasion cause he does hit pretty hard. If you are sub spec (i know this is like a rogues guide) tap preparation midway as well to renew your evasion. Good luck ya'll!

OK, here's how I did this as a lvl 63 Hunter. First, so I wouldn't have to fight everyone in the courtyard, I unequipped everything with durability and ran to the tower. Then I died. I corpse-ran back to the tower, re-equipped everything, killed the elf guarding the translocator, and ported up to the top. There were two mobs there. I couldn't sneak past, so I killed them. I healed my pet and took a health and mana break, then headed up to kill Sharth. I made my pet tank him, keeping Mend Pet ticking away for the whole fight, and kept Viper Sting on him so he couldn't heal himself. I used Feign Death to keep aggro on the pet once or twice. He died after a couple of minutes.

Luckily, when I got back down a mage had already cleared the warlocks from around the bomb, so I just set it off and headed out.

ez quest kill the guy at the top gte the letter thing go down to the bottom (do not jump) and kill the warlock and use the mana thing u can also single pull the warlocks if u interupt there spell

Pathaleon the Calculator's Image says: I need not tell you what will happen should the mana bomb down in the courtyard fail to be used on its target soon? Since moving into the forest, they've become increasingly annoying to our operations: here, at Tuurem and to the south at the Bonechewer Ruins.

I mean as kesenaie wrote (the whole dialogue) even sound somewhat like Vader talking to Palpatine, especially due to Pathaleon/Palpatine are images talking to Vauldron/Vader...
Mana Bomb = Death Star (sorta), it kinda looks like it and the explosion is similar lol

Very Useful tip for Hunters! (If you ask me xP)

First, get the letter from Sharth Voldoun

Then, You take the orb down again - You appear down on earth.

Third, You take the letter, kill the first and nearest group (and pats if any), now there's 4 Warlocks around the bomb. Get your pet healed up, and remember. If it still got Mend Pet on, you're dead, then send your pet in, just make it attack one and don't touch the others. Run to the bomb, right click on it, mend pet (if needed), Feign Death, or whatever. After you detonated the bomb, there's 5 seconds untill it explode, try survive those 5 secs, and then all the mobs around you die. Peice of Cake

Now that the level requirements for mounts have been lowered, if you're doing this again with a toon who has flying, obviously you can now just fly up to the top of the tower, land and kill Sharth without having to deal with the mobs at the bottom. Of course if you like the grind or want more XP you can still do it the "old fashioned way".

Sharth must have some of that "Dark Side" on tap as he is noticeably harder to kill than the other mobs leading up to him. As a 65 Death Knight I had to use at least one more round of rotation to down him.

i am also on this quest as a lvl 64 death knight no matter what i try to do i am able to only kill a couple of mobs before i get slaughtered now i realise that i need 2 be a level higher to have a chance at compleating it

I was sick of quest after quest going through that center area of warlocks, so on this final one I decided not to do it (level 64 hunter). I just flew down to the spot where the mana bomb was, immediately feigned death until every warlock in the area was attacking my pet spider, then got up and activated the code and ran away from the area. And when I was safely gone I recalled my pet and Spidey was still alive. Feels like cheating, but I had little patience to deal with that crowd of warlocks on three consecutive quests (the general killing, the escort of Isla Starmane and then this one).

I had issues with this being marked as complete. In my journey and map it was not flagged as complete after doing it, however I was able to turn it in as normal. (But the questgiver still had a silver question mark and such)

I got a bit intrigued when Sergeant Chawni in the quest text said "They're building a second mana bomb in the courtyard." Anyone knows what/where was the first mana bomb?

If you're doing this quest for transmog gear like me, there are a couple quests you have to do to get to this one. I just did all of the quests in Stonebreaker Hold until I found the right one, but it's the one that takes you to Shattrath to see an arrakoa. He'll start you down a short series of quests that will get you to this one.

The Final Code

Sergeant Chawni wants you to use the Final Code Sheet to set off the Mana Bomb. Then report back to Tooki at Stonebreaker Hold in Terokkar Forest.

Description

They're building a second mana bomb in the courtyard. My intel suggests that the final code for the bomb is being held by Sharth Voldoun, the overseer of the project at Firewing Point.

<name>, you have to go back in there and retrieve the final code from him. He keeps himself to the top of the highest spire.

Take the final code to the mana bomb that they're working on in the central courtyard and set it off.

Only then will we be certain that Stonebreaker Hold is safe.
