This quest is broken on the Beta. I cannot hand the quest in, a message pops up say I don't meet the requirements of this quest. Hopefully this bug gets fixed.

You see the blade being forged, and Blizzard couldn't even give us the correct model as a quest reward. All of the quest rewards are Silvermoon themed weapons, not void formed weapons.

They should've made this a renown quest to get a champion level weapon like the other factions or something like that. All that hype for a green questing weapon that doesn't even use the proper model is extremely disappointing.

For how much talk about empowering this 'blade' throughout the quest line, this is a super lame reward.
It looks nothing like the model used during the quest, and it is a mace.

When you return to Decimus at the end of this quest, I'm pleasantly surprised that unique responses are given for every dialogue option for once.

Player: I felt nothing.

Decimus: Could that be? Was the flavor I tasted merely my own desire? Fascinating.
I shall have to ponder my lack of insight.

Player: (Lie) I felt nothing.

Decimus: Now, now, <name>. You can't lie to me. I tasted your pain.
It was delicious.

Player: I have never felt deeper sorrow. I thought we were friends. How could you do this to me?

Decimus: Yes, yes! So this is the flavor of your pain. How indulgent! Thank you.

Player: (Lie) I have never felt deeper sorrow. I thought we were friends. How could you do this to me?

Decimus: Interesting...so this is as deep as the flavor gets? I confess, I am disappointed.
Perhaps the taste of bestial violence is better than mortal suffering after all.

Player: I'm a little irritated, but don't really care.

Decimus: Ah, so you do have a healthy emotional balance, do you? How boring.
Clearly, I must find myself someone more traumatized to torment.

Player: I don't owe you the dignity of a response.

Decimus: I suppose I cannot blame you.
Still, it was a pleasant journey. For my part, at least.

Player: <Draw your weapon>

Decimus: Easy, now. I understand your displeasure, but we must remain allies.
For the sake of Azeroth, right? Here, here, take the blade...

For some reason, I only got renown, gold, and XP on my level 82 alt.
I would guess that the weapon rewards only unlock past level 86, the level you should be in Voidstorm?

Big disappointment to only get a green weapon with the wrong model. Now I didn't expect the best weapon, as non of the quests were challenging, but at least a strong blue would be cool. Oh well!

Decimus has a long respawn, so if you're unfortunate enough to enter just as/after someone else fought him, don't be like me and stand super close to the respawn point, lose attention after waiting for what seemed like too long, decide to look it up, and die while reading the comments about it being a green quest reward. Just hang out and keep your eyes on the screen. He'll be back.

FFS, blizz, just how lazy can you be at this? Why are you so bad at making things make sense?

This entire quest chain was to make some powerful blade to smite our enemies while pushing us into some kind of existential quandary that would question what we have done in the past while still questioning the authenticity of Decimus' allegiance. I thought maybe it was going to be used on an upcoming quest to take down some powerful enemy or maybe it would give us some kind of world buff like the Loa shrines.

But no...

The end of the quest not only gives you anything but the dagger you're working to create (and don't give me that BS about shaping it to what form we want, that was just stupid), but the item level is only 201. The bow I have is Veteran 6/6 with an ilvl of 250 and I got that done before I even finished all the quests in this zone. You literally cannot get into this zone until all the other zones are done and by that point, you should already be at least ilvl 220 or at least very close.

Again, this is just lazy. The entire quest chain served to add absolutely nothing to the story. What an absolute joke of a quest.

Here is your blade, also its a bow because you are a hunter , and it is 60 levels lower than your equipped rifle. - working as intended...

The way they went on about this blade definitely made it seem like we were at the very least crafting a Legendary. Instead, it's a useless 201 green item that's going to be useless to 99.9% of the people doing this quest. I have a crafted 285 equipped right now.
