If you are having trouble on the Y'Shaarj summoned part of this quest, turn off your addons to reveal the default UI. There is an additional button that ports you to the upper level that was not showing on my modified action bars.

After you've clicked the 2nd summoning portal you get a quest marker on the upper level where the portal is, but no NPC to talk to. I relogged, and upon relogging was at the start of the scenario where I could turn in the quest. So if you're stuck, try clicking the portal key on your bars if you have it (without standing on a black/blue circle), run back to the start manually or relog.

I suggest you complete everything at once, if not abandon and restart.

Yogg Saron Summoned

a) You turned off all your addons.
b) You relogged and

now you are looking at General of Ny'aothat

1. Go right and go down.
2. Use "3" to jump to the left of the big guy - to avoid fighting.
3. Double back and go down to the right behind the big guy deeper down.
4. Down deeper on the right is an obelisk
5. Click obelisk - Yogg Saron (done) next guy

Y'sharrj Summoned

1. Turn around, there should be a blue portal flat on the floor with sparkles.
2. Get in the portal, use the key on your interface "6"
3. Go straight and left a short distance to the next blue floor portal "6"
4. Click the obelisk - Y'sharrj done

C'Thun Summoned

1. Go back to the same portal you arrived in and press "6" extra action button again
2. Now press M and you can follow the map ( don't need to fight guys )
3. Need to dodge around a final wall, and there is a third obelisk
4. Click the obelisk - C'Thun done

Turn in - 3 ways to get back. Number 2 is the best.

1. Run all the way back
2. Notice that your number 6 button is back as you traverse the narrow hallway, use it. (try "6" even if not visible)
3. Log out and back in - find yourself at the quest giver.

I can almost forgive the awful combat mechanics, and the minor spelling and grammatical errors which is indicative of the lack of effort or care they've put into this.

However, it's getting absolutely infuriating for every single Lorewalking quest to somehow find yourself getting disconnected and being forced to use the character unstuck service each time.

If you walk into any area you're not "supposed" to go into during this quest, you'll be automatically disconnected and will need to use the stuck character service since each time you log back in you'll just be disconnected again and again.

This content is the worst, not tested at all. The wall before Yshaarj is locked, trying to leave lorewalking leaves you in the instance and in the form.
Additionally, if you abandon some quests further down the line, it's impossible to restart with the same character: some progression relies on completing the quests that had previously been completed and thus not shown again.

Yogg-Saron is the only one who don't have audio in this quest

If you are having trouble finding the first obelisk (Yogg-Saron) to click on, follow the winding path DOWN THE HOLE in the center.

Absolutely the worst quest I've done in a long time. Getting chain disconnected over and over to start at the beginning each time. Quest markers go away. Get me out.

For real, this quest is the buggiest. When I reach the confrontation part with Xal’atath, nothing starts at all. There's no dialogue, no camera change, and no jump or descend interaction. The extra action button stops appearing. Xal’atath remains untargetable and the quest is completely stuck. I’ve tried waiting, moving around, abandoning and re-accepting the quest, re-entering the scenario, reloading the UI, and double checking the extra action button is enabled.
