To get Slow and Steady Wins the Race you have to complete 4 races provided from the quests A Race to the Finish.
To unlock Snail Racing Quests do you need Renown lvl 7 with Loamm Niffen.

Quests:

Roggy is the most slowly Snail, to win his race you have to let mobs that can spawn attack the other Snails while you keep speed up him.

How to do A Race to the Finish:

Wait for the race begins.
Speak with Corry while the race are starting.
Select the Treats corresponding to the Snail.
Use the Treats to speed up your Snail and win the race.

Treats:
Tricky Treats: Encourage orange snail "Tricky" to move faster.
Bashful Treats: Encourage blue snail "Bashful" to move faster.
Brulee Treats: Encourage teal snail "Brulee" to move faster.
Roggy Treats: Encourage orange snail "Roggy" to move faster.

Notes:

DON'T KILL MOBS THAT SPAWN IF THE MOBS DONT HIT YOUR SNAIL.
Use extra button macro.

You can only buy the treats if there is no active race.

This quest is pretty bad. I found it's best to do this quest when no one else is doing it for a guaranteed win.

Really frustrating when the treats worked at the beginning and then just stopped for the rest of the race.

Mine is bugged and not resetting, apparently you should be able to do a race to the finish daily (and at least 4 times for all 4 snails). Mine isn't offering me anything :(

This is the absolute dumbest $%^& they could have added. You wont complete this quest. Wait until 2am. You will be trolled by groups of people. You will not win.

Activating Warmode helps if you have trouble with other people messing it up for you.
There are usually very few people in Warmode in Zaralek Cavern.

What I want to know is when you get the other versions of this quest? I got Renown 7 with Niffen after reset this week and got the quest for Tricky, which I eventually completed. But the other quests have not appeared and I want the other snails

After completing the first 3 snail quests, I wasn't offered Roggy's quest, I was given Brulee's again instead.
But that's ok because I was randomly given Roggy while simply hanging out in Glimmerogg previously.
I received a second Brulee pet, but you can only have one of them and they can't be put in cages. It can be vended for 30g though.
Very odd. I'm not sure it was intentional that this quest be offered twice.

Where do you get the quest? I am renown 7 with the Loamm Sniffen, but have no quest.

Why are you designing crap quests like this blizzard? Why? Did your internal testings team try it once and found it oh so jolly good fun?

Race started and my snail is ahead by a good distance. Suddenly, another player joins in with a different snail.
Guess what? The £$€@ RNG aspect of this dog£€&% game made the other players snail win because they boosted their snail CONSTANTLY. That is so much fun now isn't Blizzard?
Would have no issue at all if there were 2+ players on one snail. Its all on the players. The fact I was ahead by quite a good distance and then have the npcs suddenly favor the other player is so goddam %¤&#. They favored him so much in fact, the snail had a boost for an entire curve. Fun isn't it.

So like what others say, do this quest when there is no other players to avoid infuriating bulls£€¤ like this.

Is it just me or is this quest not coming up? It seems to be as popular as Brightblade's Bones which Blizzard seems sanguine of never coming up due to RNGesus.

I have just received Roggy and the associated achievement by helping Roggy win the race without having a quest for him. I'd just completed the quest for Bashful to win and decided to try and help Roggy so see how slow he was so swapped to his treats. After he won I received the pet and the achievement.

Been doing this for weeks now and I still do not have Roggy as an option. Great work, blizz.

Description

Everyone loves a good snail race! In the most exciting races, every snail has a chance to win. You can help a snail win by giving it treats. Watch how fast it makes them go! Grab a bag of treats and toss them in the path of the snails. See if you can get Brulee to win!
