You'll need to be in the right area to use the mana token that appeared in your bag.
Coordinates 62 19 for example.

One Step Backwards has no useful instructions. You receive a purple bag called Adenedal's Tidy Purse from quest giver Skyscribe Adenedal. You'll find him a small round building in the ruins at 62.1, 16.4.

Skyscribe Adenedal says:
My friend, it is with great sorrow that I must say that I am familiar with the plight facing your kind in these ruins. If you proceed any further, you too will surely succumb to their madness. Be it through your nurture or your nature, the call you hear is a physiological one. You have a craving that must be sated. It brings me great shame to say that I possess the means to feed this malediction. It will not quite be the same, but you will be able to function... For now.

So that's meaningless. But you were given a bag which is in your inventory. You click on it . The bag disappears and you find you have an Ancient Mana Gem.

Instruction on the Ancient Mana Gem:
"Use: Consume mana. (1 Min Cooldown). Requires level 62 to 65."

You click on it, nothing happens to you. Ancient Mana Gem is still there.What to do?

You need to use/(consume) the Ancient Mana Gem at the nearby round terrace containing dragon eggs. It's at 61.6, 18.7. There is no blue quest area shown on the mini map at this time. Turn left as you exit the building with the quest giver, enter the open area and veer to the right, you'll see the terrace.

Now use/consume the Ancient Mana Gem. Nothing happens to you, nothing happens to the eggs. (It's not necessary to go over to the long scroll at the side of the room.) A few whelpings may spawn, kill them only if you must. Then return to the quest giver where you found him.

In the wrong place? No need to abandon this quest if you have the Ancient Mana Gem in your inventory. Just go over to the terrace with the dragon eggs. Then click on the Ancient Mana Gem. Done. Return to the quest giver.

The quest giver Skyscribe Adenedal is at /way 62.12 16.30.
He puts Adenedal's Tidy Purse into your bag. Use Adenedal's Tidy Purse and get Ancient Mana Gem.
Then go to /way 60.07 18.92 and use Ancient Mana Gem.

Done. You are breathtaking 😍
