It is patch day, February 22nd 2022, and despite months of bug reports, this awful design STILL hasn't been fixed.

Only one player per minute can click the button, and the damn mob you have to kill doesn't go active (he's got a cloak on him permanently) after you do manage to get your turn.

Get this crap in order, Blizzard!

UPDATE: logging in and logging out did nothing, but after 10 minutes, he went active, and could be killed. If you're trying this today... good luck.

It worked for me today. I had to wait a minute or so before the buttons became 'pushable', but once they were I pressed the first, then the second and then the fourth (though I doubt it matters which ones you press), and each time there are two baddies you have to repel, and the last button press releases the armour around Xy'kaz.

Working now. Check the "unlock door" button, a square thingie to the right of the door.

YMMV but i freaking had to fight literally like 6 waves.......and there are 4 buttons....this entire questline so far has been really frustrating....

basically just fight the mobs that attack you - they come 2 at a time - eventually the quest is going to decloak the main enemy so you can burn them down.

Just a weird quest. If you're the only one doing it, you first press a button, then 2 sets of 2 adds will attack. After killing them, you need to press another button (rest/heal before pressing this if you need to). Then you have 2 more 2 sets of adds. Then you press a button again and you kill the "boss".

If someone else is doing it or it's in progress I think you need to just fit in. Help them, etc.

Press the buttons on the console.. It will trigger waves of hostiles. If you can't press the button again, you probably have some more fighting to do..

To exit the vault and complete the quest you have to push the large object to the right of the door.

8 March 2022 .... seems to be working. Check out the dialogue from yer 2 pals. Al'dalil says "Help Rana while I handle Xykaz".
So, don't waste time chasing Xykaz ... stay at the console with Rana, and press buttons as they become "live". These buttons spawn nasties. Keep killing them until after a while (?) Xykaz stops running around and comes over to you. Now you can fight him. Good luck.

I present Not Al Are Lost Storyline part of Path to Enlightenment. This Story line have 7 Quests.

Quest Name:	Start and description
1 Enlightened Exodus	Quest chain start from Al'dalil 33 64. Speak with 4 NPC: Varoun 34 66, Avna 34 65, Elder Kreth 34 64 and Custodian Kalir 35 65.
2 Security Check	Check 4 Shield Conduit they are outside vilage next to wall you need to do them one by one: 33 64, 34 62 next to on other side 34 67 and 36 65 after last one mob will spown.
3 Traces of Tampering	Find 3 clues one by one: 32 62, 34 61 and 33 59
4a Xy Are You Doing This?	Get 10 Suspicious Papers you can fing them inside Hidden Equipment.
4b Broker Decloaker	Slay 12 Cartel Xy agents use Decloakifier to expose them or like i done just when you doing Quest 4a by opening Hidden Equipment 1 or 2 agents will attack you.
6 Following the Leader	Go back to village get inside bulding and press on console to open door and get inside.
7 Technical Difficulties	Press buttons, on first 2 buttons kill 2 waves of mobs, on 3rd button kill Xy'kaz then go outside Vault.

I couldn't get it to work until the player that was already in there was done with his turn. As soon as he killed the final mob, I was able to push the buttons. Good luck!

I had difficulties with this one, however it's easy enough to get around:

Jump onto the console.
Right Click one button.
Mobs will spawn, kill them.
Rince and Repeat until one of the buttons spawns Xy'Kaz
Kill everyting, loot mob, get out of room - job done :)

Got locked in the room! Doors slammed in my face just before I could exit... NOT A PROBLEM! There is a console next to the exit - simply click it and the doors will open! You're FREE! :)
