In the final part of the assault where you need to enter four mirrors to redirect Light at the boss there's two things to be aware of:

You cannot enter mirrors on either side while in combat.

If you fall off some of the platforms where the focusing prisms are it may not be possible to climb back up normally. You'll either need to find a really high place and goblin glider down or make your way back to the Maw to try again.

Be slow when going back through the mirrors. I managed to run through one and just fall off the cliff because it didn't register me.

What to do if the quest gives you a next location you can't get to....

You do a red transport mirror to get to the Maw and change the direction of the light with the focusing mirror so it shines into the transport mirror. Then the quest shows you the location of the next focusing mirror. But you can't get there. You need to take the transport mirror _back_ to the maw and then use a different transport mirror.

If you accidentally click on Draven and he flies you over to the Gothra it will de-spawn Renethal. If he isn't at where you initially spoke to him you can abandon the quest "Venthyr Assault", go back to Korthia and pick it up again and come back.

On the third mirror, I was exiting and instead of going back, it dropped me off the cliff and I died. I was fully rezzed in Revendreth and had to make the flight back to Oribos to re-enter the Maw. Be careful. Dying inside the mirrors will only end in frustration and a long, long trip back.

The assault icon appeared on the map today for me. I had already done the quest when it showed up a couple of days before. This assault doesn't appear to function like the assaults in Legion or how they are set up for Uldum/Valley in BFA. I didn't have the option to run it again. No quest popped for me when I got to the area. Ven'ari didn't have it for me a 2nd time.

When you first start the assault questline, on the top of the ramparts with Prince Renathal and the other questgivers, there is a vendor that sells buffs that cost Infused Ruby. If you have acquired the Enchanted Map of Infused Ruby Network then the NPC should be outlined in purple, or sparkles.

If you have rubies (which you loot from mobs in Revendreth, and you can have a cap of 100 at a time), then buy some buff items, they really help a lot. Most of the buffs are activated for an hour as soon as you buy them, and you only receive a junk item in your bag.

You'll get more rubies as part of your reward when you complete the assault questline, so go ahead and spend a few where they'll be really useful to you.

To get to the vendor you jump down a level on the rampart, and there's a hanging chain you click to climb back up to the questgivers.

Hi all

I present You Venthyr Assault in Maw.

Go to 30 17 Use Gigant to throw you on wall then speak with Prince Renathal and pick Up all 4 random Quests ( I had ):

1. Terrorizing the Tremaculum - Slay 30 mobs, do This quest with Quest 2.

2. A Tea for Every Occasion - First jump on Tubbins ( is on wall ) then use skill 1 to serve 15 tea to ally ( you need to mark ally to serve ). Do this Quest with Quest 1.

3. Wrath of the Party Herald - Jump On Temel then You will fly ( i was using only skill 1 drop on 50 enemy )

4. They Grow Up So Quickly - after kill mobs use Quest Item warm will eat bodys xD. I did not try but maby You can do this Quest with 1 &2 in same time. When You will get to 100% jump on Shadow and move to 25 17. You will return quest in this place to.

Quests 1-3 return under steps 27 13 ( why they hidding there O_o )

Next You need to Jump on General Draven. You will fly up.
Then You need to jump to all 4 mirrors and change light direction in each mirror.
When you get out from last one cinematic will start.

That will finish Assault.

You can do in only when Venthyr Assault is up.

This is how i done it:

Pick Up Quest Fangcrack's Fan Club From Rendle 31 15 He is on wall.

Then move to 30 13 there will be Fangcrack next to Portal to Torghast. Fangcrack will pulls mobs ( kill them to get next pull ), Ashen Phylactery and Anima Hoard.

To get this Achi done You need to get 10 buff by destroing Ashen Phylactery or picking skill from Anima Hoard.

Quest i give back after i done Achi.

Fangcrack can pull as well Broker Ve'nott. He Can Sell You Collapsing Riftstone fror 100 Stygnia.

Just did all 4 venthyr assault quests, turned them in but only got credit for 3. There are no more quests for me to complete. I can't abandon the assault and just start over. To put in a ticket it seems like you have to jump through hoops. Any suggestions?

Anyone have coordinates for the mirrors so we can just fly to them instead.

If you don't want to go in and out of all the mirrors the waypoints for flying to each mirror in Revendreth are:

On the last part of this quest when you are going to face Gothra, go through the last mirror and you will get an immediate cut-scene, your allies will kill him and you are done with the assault. Also, just fly to the mirrors (follow the arrows) to turn each of the 4. Follow the arrow on your mini map if you've got world quest tracker.

This mirror keeps phasing out for me.
I've gone back to oribos and back to the maw.
I been going through mirrors and back.
I been trying to fly from a mirror and back.
I have restarted the game and I can't seem to complete the assault.
Anyone else with same issue?

Fun bonus adventure! A couple of tips. First, there are four quests you need to pick up when you’re up on the platform with the Prince. There are several adjacent platforms you need to hop around on to pick up the quests. When you’ve finished these and checked in with Renathal in another part of the cavern, you’ll also find Draven. He will take you up to the platform with some huge boss. Ignore that guy for now. Go through any of the four portals. You’ll be transported to one of the mirrors. If you have flying ability you can use the mini map to find the other three in Revendreth. If you don’t fly, then I guess you’ll have to go back through the portal and pass through the other three. Once that’s done, the Huge boss gets taken care of for you. Ta da! You get some nice prizes.

Sooo glad the eye of the jailer is gone, I used to hate the Maw.

Doing the Venthyr Assault
The assault takes place in the Tremaculum. It's one of the easiest assaults. If you do the assault more than once, your rewards may differ.

There are 5 parts to the Venthyr Assault:
1	Getting to the quest givers on the ramparts The giant Burly Hurly throws you up to the ramparts where the quest givers are. When you mouseover him, you'll see a green vehicle arrow. Click and he tosses you up.
2	Pick up the 4 quests for the assault Interact with Prince Renathal. He glows but there is no quest marker over his head. This triggers 4 quest markers. You'll need to run along the ramparts to get all four quests. Many thanks to Wowpedia! which lists all the possible quests: https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Venthyr_Assault. I've added Wowhead links and quest givers so you can see the Comments.
Quest Giver	Quest	Turn in all quests to:
Prince Renathal	Terrorizing the Tremaculum This quest is given in every Venthyr assault. The kills for your other 3 quests count toward the 30 kills. So do them, don't kill random mobs.	Prince Renathal (27.0, 13.8). Find him behind a tall staircase. A dim blue circle of light marks his location. Look for the yellow question mark.
Lady Moonberry	That's a Good TrickUse Lady Moonberry's Wand to shrink enemies and also enlarge maw rats is in your inventory. The mawrats are sleeping and may be hard to spot. Check your inventory if you don't see the wand icon on your screen. If you can't seem to finish this quest, you may need to use the wand on another mawrat.	Prince Renathal
The Accuser	Fangcrack's Fan Club. This quest links to Hoarder of Torghast which is one of the requirements for On the Offensive. Exalted reputation with the Death's Advance faction and On the Offensive allow you and your alts to buy a faction-specific mount from Duchess Mynx in Korthia. VGameshark93 points out only 3 types of objects that Fangcrack pulls out of the rift portal count for the Hoarder of Torghast achievement: breaking a Phylactery, clicking on an anima orb or buying from a broker. The Accuser	If Even One is Worthy Click on souls until you find one that is worthy. If you're doing the weekly Return Lost Souls focus on the Imprisoned Souls in Stone Prisons.	Prince Renathal
Theotar	A Tea for Every Occasion. Tubbins is your vehicle. Your action bar includes commands to serve tea, use defensive abilities, use a parasol and heal. Kills count toward Terrorizing the Tremaculum. You will be accompanied by Gubbins who holds a parasol and fights with you. A Tea for Every Occasion links to Tea for the Troubled which is one of the requirements for On the Offensive. Tea for the Troubled requires you to serve tea from your action bar to eight named allies. Only 4 named allies spawn each day of the assault - so it's best to start on Day 1. One or two of the allies you saw on Day 1 may also be present the next day. If you've already served them tea, you won't see them and it will seem like less than four allies are present. Find your named allies before serving tea to any other NPCs. The other NPCs appear stunned and have green nameplates.	Prince Renathal
Nadjia the Mistblade	Duelist's Challenge Go up to the ramparts using a grapling point (marked by blue lights) or have Burly Hurly toss you up. Find the giant Boot the Beaut on the ramparts and click on him. He'll toss you to an upper level. The four champions you need to kill are arranged around the edges of a round platform. Their troops will not interfere when you attack their boss. There is also an optional bonus quest Dartanos, Flayer of Souls to kill Dartanos. The trash near him will fight you.	Prince Renathal
Hunt-Captain Korayn	The Skyhunt. Your Mawsworn targets are in the sky above the western bridge. Check your inventory for Korayn's Spear if you don't see it as an icon in the Objectives section of the screen. The Wild Hunt can assist you.	Prince Renathal
Niya	They Grow Up So Quickly Pick a small gormling. Feed the gormling your kills by highlighting them using Niya's Staff. After eating 20 kills, your gormling is large enough to ride. Turn it into Reldorn of the Wild Hunt at 25.6, 17.6. Then turn in the quest to Prince Renathal.	Reldorn, then Prince Renathal
General Draven	Weapons of the Tremaculum. Weapons are dropped by guards. Ghastly Crowns are dropped by robed Ghastly Willbreakers. The respawn is slow. Shade Eyes are dropped by shades.	Prince Renathal
The Curator	Wrath of the Party Herald. Temel is your vehicle for a flying bombing run.	Prince Renathal

3	General Draven flies you up to the Boss After turning in the 4 quests to Prince Renathal, you'll interact with General Draven who is nearby. General Draven drops you off on a high platform occupied by Gothra the Trembler. Do not try to fight Gothra the Trembler. Your mission is to go to Revendreth and activate laser mirrors.
4	Travelling to Revendreth through the red mirrors There are 4 pointed red mirrors on the edge of the platform. Go through each, in turn. Stepping through a mirror takes you to a location in Revendreth. Gothra the Trembler has his back to you and ignores you. Your objective is to activate a round laser mirror and redirect it to Gothra the Trembler's platform in the Tremaculum. The target mirror is shown on the mini map as a yellow dot. Click on it. Return to the arched red mirror, killing or stunning mirror trash. Stepping through the mirror returns you the platform in the Tremaculum. Continue to the next mirror. There are some comments that recommend you travel to Revendreth through the first mirror, then fly to the other three mirror locations. You can, but if your loading screen loads quickly, it's faster to go use all four red mirrors on the platform in the Tremaculum.
5	The Finale: Slay Gothra the Trembler As soon as you return to the platform after redirecting all 4 laser focusing beacons, the fight starts. But wait - it's a short cut-scene. Gothra the Trembler falls. Prince Renathal makes some remarks. There is no yellow question mark to conclude the assault. Look in your bags and you'll see a reward chest. Use Ve'nari's Cypher of Relocation to exit or hearth out.

Tips

Most of your 4 quests will be inside the Tremaculum - check the mini map.
If you don't see a special ability or weapon in the Objectives section on the screen, check your bags.
If you die, be sure to pick up the Stygia you lost where your corpse is located.
You can do the weekly Return Lost Souls at the same time. There will be plenty of souls, but you'll have the soul catcher bobbing around like a balloon. Although the mini map shows souls all over, check the nameplates - most are Unworthy Souls which you can't capture. Look for Imprisoned Souls in Stone Prisons

If you are having trouble locating Prince Renethal to turn in your quests, he is on ground level in the Tremaculum area under a stairway. You can go to the following waypoint and then look north to see Renethal and his party under the stairway:

/way 27.06 15.04 look north

After you turn in the first 4 quests to Prince Renethal under the bridge stairway and then you get a new objective to help Draven secure the upper platform, General Draven is standing right behind Prince Renethal. Interact with Draven and he will fly you up on top of the bridge where you do the thing with the mirrors.

Even if you can't fly in The Maw, you can fly after stepping through the portals to redirect the mirrors.

...Did anyone else stop to talk to General Draven, Prince Renathal, and Lady Moonberry after killing Gothra the Trembler with the redirected Ember Ward light from the mirrors? Particularly General Draven -- he says something peculiar:

<General nods approvingly at the corpse of Gothra.>
I was uncertain of this plan when Prince Renethal first proposed it, but now I see his wisdome.
Many stoneborn would've been lost in this fight, but the careful manipulation of Light left only one casualty?
Intriguing...

.........What casualty? Is he referring to Gothra the Trembler? But does the term "casualty" include perpetrators and villains? I always thought the word was used solely in reference to innocents, civilians, and the like, who were hurt in a conflict.
