EZ Tip: Bring all the ingredients in your bags. Does not trigger if the cooking mats (meat and the haunches) are in your bank.

I bought the items when I was next to him and that's why he didn't start preparing the recipe. So i moved away and then i came back. Then he started to prepare the food.

Make sure to click the item on the table. Then he has a question mark that the quest is complete

If you have all ingredients in your backpack it will trigger a small cooking event. There will be a small bowl on the table click it and you can end the quest

Nothing says how to get this quest.. If it's available you should be able to look on your map of Bastian and see it.(on the west side).

Also a little more detail:
- You can create the Banana Beef Pudding yourself. It's a cooking recipe you learn.

To get here (or at least the way I did it):

Get to the Necrotic Wake dungeon entrance
go down the stairs nearby at /way 41, 57
keep going forward until /way 38, 61 (you'll see a giant statue here)
use Door of Shadows ability to get up the ledge (I had to use it twice)
from here run to the quest marker at /way 34, 66

Try to bring the required items with you before you get here! There are no mailboxes or banks nearby.

Please note: contrary to some other comments here, you do not need to have all of the ingredients in your bags. It completed for me with all of the meats in my bank.

As part of this quest, you have to taste Stewart's pudding. It's just like eating the real thing....keep eating for 10 seconds, and you'll get the stamina buff. No reason not to eat a bit longer than you have to and get the buff.

Can't decide if this is a very abstract reference to the episode of Friends where Rachel accidentally combines trifle with cottage pie. It'd certainly explain the banana and beef combination

I had all the ingredients in my bag when I accepted his quest. I couldn't find the pudding on the table and no cooking event started. I left the immediate area and returned and he started the event and the pudding spawned. So if you are having trouble with no pudding showing up, just leave the area and return.

I don't think there is anything that tells you how to get the recipe in the game. I guess the quest becomes available after your first Ember Court, and then you can just go visit Stewart when you have the materials. I picked up the quest from him but then nothing happened, so I flew out of the quest area and then rode back in (on the ground) and he started making a batch. The item to taste appears as a clickable item on his table. Eat it for 10 seconds to become well fed and complete the quest.

You teach recipe to me this way and bring me right ingredients so I cook too. Then taste yours, then taste mine. Helps me learn. I bring desserts to Ember Court. Fair, yes?
