Does anyone else get to the scroll and nothing happens? .. I'm guessing I have missed something.
I've tried abandoning and taking the quest again but the "scenario" still doesn't start for me when I approach the scroll.

There was a world quest overlapping the area when I went to do this, which was very confusing for me. The world quest has you click a bell to transform into a Kyrian, but if you do that you are unable to meditate for this campaign quest. To do the campaign quest, just go to the scrolls and click the Extra Action Button that appears.

As mentioned before, do the world quest first to unphase you from the area. Also if you have a stitchyard follower with you, the extra action button won't show up. I had to dismiss my abom guy to get the extra action button to show up so I could meditate.

If the world quest is up, I discovered that I needed to finish the world quest, then, quit the game before the special action button would show up at the 3 different spots.

Anyone know what WQ? There isn't a WQ anywhere near this place on my map....

When I did it there was no world quest active. I had to abandon and retake two times. The button was visible, but when I clicked it and did the thing there was no progress. He talked about his regrets, but no go. Abandon and repeat.

Second Scroll of Remembrance - an image Renault Mograine, a human male in armor appears briefly.
Alexandros: Renault. My eldest... my demise. His betrayal haunts me, even in death."
Two small "Alexandros' Burden" mobs spawn and attack the player
Alexandros: "My son... Would this pain be best forgotten?"

Third Scroll of Remembrance - an image of Darion Mograine, the Death Knight appears briefly.
Alexandros: "Darion... you died to free me from the Scourge... and still you stand in defense of Azeroth!
I will never forget your sacrifice... Never!"
A large "Alexandros' Burden" mob spawns - says "Father...?" and attacks the player.
Alexandros: "My beloved son... I am so proud of you... and nothing will ever take that from me.
I... believe I understand now. Let us return to the Paragon."

Handing the quest in...
Xandria: "The Arbiter saw that your memories are not a burden, but your source of strength. That is why you belong in Maldraxxus."

Alexandros: "I see that now. Honor may have forsaken Maldraxxus... but together, we will restore what has been lost!
Go on, %n. I... would like a moment to reflect."

Apparently the Scrolls have a ordering as well...if you start going to the right, you'll never realize why you have nothing to do at the scroll location.

I got to the scroll and nothing happened. Before turning addons off I did a /reload and the action button appeared.

When you complete a reflection here is what happens; 1) there is a brief flash saying that this reflection was completed. It lasts 2 seconds tops, 2).on the map the quest location shifts to the next location, 3) the quest tracker shows no change. Until all 4 reflections are done the quest tracker will show no change whatsoever.

If you're here before you're running to the scroll location and nothing is happening, you might've made this mistake:

You're in the void realm. Right click off the buff you have to leave the void realm and turn back to your normal race. Then, if Alexandros and the button doesn't appear immediately, abandon the quest and go pick it up again.

The name of this quest is actually a reference to the original Ashbringer comics, when Alexandros told his son Darion "I love you with all that I am, all that I will ever be." When Darion impales himself with the Corrupted Ashbringer to redeem his father's soul, he hears the words once again as Alexandros passes into the Shadowlands.

Go to each scroll and press the action button to meditate:

/way 47.4 66.0 scroll 1
/way 44.9 68.7 scroll 2
/way 44.7 64.4 scroll 3

You can ignore small adds that spawn. Kill the big add (Alexandro's Burden) at the end.

There's another quest here that can interfere with this quest: If you're in the void realm (everything is blueish), right click off the "Witness the Past" buff at the top right of your screen in order to zone back in before you try to meditate.

Description

This is the site of an ancient battle won by the previous Paragon of Courage. She sacrificed herself to serve the Shadowlands. I only hope my own end will prove as exemplary. Many of my disciples meditate upon the scrolls here. With them, we remember the foundation of our courage. Accompany Alexandros as he reflects on his shrines. Aid him in understanding where the source of his courage lies. He will learn that this afterlife is not the one suited for him.
