I saw this follow-up quest after I've already killed the queen. The NPC spawns very slowly. Sometimes quest objectives change dinamically, sometimes they don't. We are Blizzard, we can't make up our minds.

Just pull her out of her spot a little up the hill and Guardian Kota will tank her

I will say I got thrown off by this. I was in the panther form, apparently the mob had been killed as I picked up the quest. This happened behind my back so I didn't see it die. Just the body. I was in the panther form - killed 15 minutes waiting for nothing. Drop the form, pickup the quest at Guardian Kota again and the mob will spawn shortly thereafter.

I was not able to fight in the provided cat form. Matriarch would disappear any time I entered that cat form and re-appear when I dropped back to pally. So I just fought her as a plain old Ret Pally, pulling her up to the NPC for help, and it was easy. I don't know what the provided cat form is for.

Or maybe the cat form was for the World Quest. So lesson is you can't use the WQ cat form to fight the Matriarch.

I present When a Gorm Eats a God Storyline. This Story line have 10 Quests. This Story line is a part of Sojourner of Ardenweald.

Quest Name:	Start and description
1 In Need of Gorm Gris	Quest start from Guardian Kota 62 36 Ardenweald. You need to go to Master Sha'lor 64 38
2 Nothing Goes to Waste	Pick up Depleted Wildseed is on left side from NPC. Then go 65 38 and put on place Depleted Wildseed. Then press on Docile Gormling and pull them in to Depleted Wildseed Do line that 4 times ( They will follow you for few sec some times you need to press two times on 1 worm go get him on place ).
3 Collection Day	Press first on Gloober ( worm on right side from NPC ) then will spown on ground Fresh Gorm Gris pick it up. Go to 65 38 and use Gormherd Branch on 4 Gorged Gormling then slay Agitated Gorm.
4 Delivery for Guardian Kota	Go to see Guardian Kota 62 36 Ardenweald.
5 The Absent-Minded Artisan	Go to 63 32 You will see Gorm Matriarch hiding in ground. Speak with Guardian Kota.
6 Finish What He Started	Use Gormherd Branch on gorm then slay them to get in loot Wild Gorm Gris. Do this quest together with One Big Problem and Burrows Away.
7 One Big Problem	First pick up Gloober 63 30. Then go to cave 62 29 and fight with Gorm Matriarch until 80%. Then move to cave 61 33 and fight with Gorm Matriarch until 30%. Then go to Den 59 34 to finish quest.
8 Burrows Away	Quest start from Gorm Burrow 62 30. You need to Collapse 8 Gorm Burrow
9 Queen of the Underground	Slay Gorm Matriarch.
10 When a Gorm Eats a God	Report back to Droman Tashmur 63 36 in Tirna Vaal. That will finish storyline.

and the World Quest Gormageddon is up

once you've turned in One Big Problem
(maybe also the other two provided? or most likely that too)

the zone around you will phase back to the one in which you will be able to transform into the Swift Shadowstalker

You can fight the Gorm Matriarch, defeat and even turn in that quest while being that.. entity.

((*and so.. just in case I mistook this WQ for one that's also available to "minors" (and should it be not..)

regardless of that it seemed that you can kill her using 5 abilities or so, just to state that unless you could 2-shot her otherwise, this could also come in handy at maximum level - writing of which - gladly they did fix some WQs which at times had such errors as "you are to low level to use that ability - why then would a below-lvl-60 character get this zone to trigger as a WQ anyways?) (while actually being ay-a-fay_yie-are, that is, ay-eff-ay-ike-..k-kaaay? if I do or would know - phonetics would come in more handy right here nevertheless, but not above all since then they should be a.f.a.WE.all.K-and realised how to use...-them)
(*sigh* discussions... or even ramblings... just like we - back then - guild mates that was - had debates whether the h in imho stood for humble or honest - since I, honestly, but furthermore still humbly! wanted to lean towards some certain tendency regarding that - enough with that non-info now!))

also need some AOE to deal with the little ones that gang up on you. They don't have a lot of hp, just a couple of waves to not ignore.

This boss is laughably easy as the panther form from the WQ Gormageddon. Took me about 4 hits to kill her.
