After select the house you just need know the Lead name and find him (The Countess will tell you).

Example:
If you select House Sinfang you need kill Chancellor Catina.

Note, at least as of today you could attack the leader of whichever you picked prior to talking to them, you need to talk to them before killing to get credit, not sure if bug or what not.

These are the leaders of each house:

House Briarbane -> Chancellor Ylenia
House Primrose -> Chancellor Ladris
House Darkvein-> Chancellor Codrin
House Sourwine-> Chancellor Zelma
House Duskmire-> Chancellor Kronid
House Sinfang-> Chancellor Catina

If you're not sure which one to pick, it doesn't really matter. Whoever you kill will say the same thing:

A venthyr that consorts with mortals is not fit to lead! I will finish what Andrei started!

If you, like me, solve all issues with immediate violence - be aware you do have to talk to them for the quest to advance. Just attacking the target you know you'll have to kill won't count as a confrontation and you have to wait for them to respawn (not long though).

Huh, in my 10 interviews there was one which definitely stood out. Lord Geofri of House Darkvein said, "... Soon we won't have to endure these self-indulgent soirees."

But apparently it doesn't matter. Just pick whoever and kill them, because story on rails.

If you're here because you're worried you missed the right answer while doing the last quest, don't be.

There is no "right" answer. Whichever house you pick will have been the culprit all along.

It doesn't actually matter which you pick, and all of the houses are in fact hostile to players.

However, if you have the Inscription profession and chose to use the special options while forging your letter of condemnation during Sign Your Own Death Warrant, choosing House Darkvein will give you the opportunity to kill Chancellor Codrin, whom you identified as the noble that exiled you to the Ember Ward.

Wondering where you'll find the head of the House you've condemned?

As Sipder2 says, The Countess will name the head of the house you find suspicious - in Chat. Wander around and you'll see a quest circle on the mini-map. Your target will sparkle and will probably be alone. Guess they should have stayed at the party.

What if I don't talk with any leader that she name? How can I complete the quest?

Had a strange experience with this, on a very heavy Ally server, I'm horde, there was a huge group of alliance just murdering all the guests non stop. Is this a later questline? Do you get rep for them? Or were they just being jerks to people trying to do the quest? Made it almost impossible to complete this because they kept killing them, and they were aggro'd before you could speak with them. Couldn't ask wtf are you doing?
ETA: Have another alt coming up to do this, interesting points made here. I did check the loot table but nothing of note from them except Ladris drops two epic mail gear but they all can drop nightforged steel. Maybe farming that?
EETA: Seems the mystery is solved, BOE farmers who don't care they are making the quest impossible to complete for others. Even tho they are looking for world drops and not these mobs loot table specifically. As long as they aren't inconvenienced with there being so many mobs to pull.

I went with Sourwine because I hated the name. I just find it amusing that when you go to dispatch justice, Lady Ivona from House Sourwine just stands there watching you. Someone wants a promotion...

Silly me... I was afraid of picking the wrong name, so I chose Duskmire because I was doing quests there, I thought it would be a way to "remember" the name of the house and it was a clue. LOL

I guess this is Blizzard's idea of "plot" and "role-playing". Ask you to make a choice for which you are given no information, and then make every option result in exactly the same outcome. At least the linear on-rails quests are honest about it.

Something odd was that Iremoore was not an option. Was this just an error in the quest? Iremoore was the most suspicious house I had questioned. (Sir Toma said "Soon we won't have to endure these self-indulgent soirees.") But only six out of seven were available choices for this quest.
edit: nevermind, I realized Andrei was in Iremoore so that's why I couldn't accuse anyone from that house.

funniest part about this damn quest is that IREMOORE was the house with the most consistent traitorous answers when you have to ask around, but it is completely absent from this list of houses to accuse... so yeah, literally doesn't matter which one you pick unfortunately.

there is always bunch of farmers who are mass killing all mobs incl. quest NPC's but Blizzard doesn't care that players can't continue with campaign.
So I would advice to pick Chancellor Ylenia <House Briarbane>, she is hidden in small chapel and should be alive.If you already picked 'wrong' NPC, try switch war mode on/off and hope for luck.

I picked House Primrose because two of them tried to attack me. The rest of the guests just stated how bored they were.
