I started at the beginning of the canals at /way 69.93 44.43 and worked my way to the north. The Frenzied Elementals have a Thrash move that melee will have to step away from. I also killed Maddened Souls along the bank as I went, they count for the quest objective also.

Eye of the Corrupter is at /way 70.15 28.74.

The Communication Crystal can be reached by the stairs at /way 76.38 30.60, at /way 76.38 29.82, you are confronted by the Image of Queen Azshara once again, RP only. You turn in the quest to Image of Thalyssra here. You pick up two quests from her, Secrets of Telemancy and Speak to the Dead.

Making the Connection - find objectives
Terrors in the Deep - kill enemies
Secrets of Telemancy - click chest and then the button at the wall. Open the box
Speak with the Dead - talk to Highborne Nobles
The Handmaiden's Tale - kill Lady Silazsi
We'll Poke Their Eye Out - return to Newhome
The Tide Turns - talk to Lor'themar Theron. Kill enemies to fill the bar (be careful, some of them use Mortal Strike). Kill Commander Kresh and klick your action button. Defeat Lady Zharessa

Grants the last step for Unfathomable and a new flight point.

New quest available after that: The Eternal Palace: Queen's Gambit - kill Queen Azshara

You really get a sense of how out-dated this games graphics have become by seeing Azshara holding a glass and how bad it looks.

Even though Blizzard says otherwise, they really need to update the graphics in this game.

I got constant whispers from the Eye of the Corruptor while on this quest. I still have the Gift of N'Zoth buff (haven't completed the quest to cleanse it), can anyone confirm if you get these whispers regardless? Always curious what effects this buff has.

Description

Azshara knows we are here. Still, we must press on.

Be careful, though. There is a... wrongness coming from the water. It is unlike the magic of old, but more ancient and terrible.

Traverse the canals and find the source of corruption. If we are to search Zin-Azshari, we cannot let any relics fall into the hands of even darker powers.
