I had trouble the first time I did it because I couldn't find the powder. It's on the table, to the left of where the Block Warden is/was. It's a round plate like item.

Broke this quest by leaping down to the lower level (Sodden Depths) before killing Block Warden Carmine. There is currently no way to get back to the upper level. There's an invisible wall at the portcullis near the stairwell that prevents going back even when other players break through.

Kinda funny quest. So, speak to Flynn to start and punch him as he wants (didnt realise was that really useful, as no one come).
Get out of the cell and turn right to press the lever (on the wall) and take back your equipment.
Block Warden Carmine spawns left of your prison cell. Kill him and take Glittering Gunpowder on the table.
Cross the room and blow up the door, then just through the sewers. When you're out of sewers, mount and travel to the boat.

If Flynn stops without reason, you're still in fight. Find the target or use Vanish o.s. to get out of the fight. Sometimes it helps also to just continue. But please note SavnetSinn's comment:

There seems to be a bug with the hand in location for the quest. Ignore the map and head to the docks by Tradewinds Market in Boralus and look for Taelia at the lower docks.

mine broke while riding the rowboat. drove me into fatigue then stopped in place until i died. forced rez sickness and run to (?) but find nobody there. :(

This quest name is a reference to the phrase "In like Flynn," which usually relates to someone achieving something with ease. It can also mean something sexual; it's up to you.

You have to escape from prison, start by punching Flynn Fairwind to draw guards, the pull the lever to free prisoners.
Get your equipment back from the chest and kill Block Warden Carmine, take Glittering Gunpowder from the table.
Plant the bomb across the room and escape to the boat when the door blows up.

2. The Battle for Lordaeron	Master Mathias Shaw - Speak with Captain Angelica to start scenario Battle for Lordaeron - that will be done in raid group ( 20 ppl ) and is taking around 20-25 min. Durning scenario you will see videos as well.	Halford Wyrmbane

Funnily enough, if you have Precious' Ribbon equipped, the Precious's Ribbon buff will equip you with Precious' pink shirt, even though you're supposed to have been stripped of all your equipment.

Ran into another bug today while doing this on my boosted worgen druid - I couldn't attack anybody. They could all attack me (thankfully I have self-heals!) but no matter how many ability buttons I spammed, they would never do anything. Even aoe like Thrash and Swipe had no effect. (edit: Feral spec, warmode off)

If this bug happens to you, getting into a party with another player who CAN dps will get the quest complete. Just follow them out and let them dps. Heal or buff your party member (that seemed to work fine) and warn them you can't dps.

My guildie accidentally hearthed while in the middle of the dungeon activity, so I showed them the portal to Kul Tiras in the Stormwind mage tower. When I went through, I arrived, as expected, in Boralus, but my guildie ported back into the dungeon with Flynn. The portal did the right thing.

Do NOT hearth and abandon this quest after punching the Flynn out. It will teleport you back to the cell and you won't be able to go anywhere or accept the quest again.

I'd like to add a comment just to assure people that this quest is still bugged where you get dropped out of the row boat. A bug since 2018 is still there in 2021. A GAME BREAKING bug too.

You cannot go to your grave to accept a revive, as your corpse is in the middle of the ocean, so as soon as you accept you go back to fatigue meter and die. If you choose to revive at the guardian spirit and accept a durability loss, you are spawned directly on an enemy with revive sickness, so you are unable to kill it. You cannot outrun the enemies to get to the boat. If you somehow manage to hide and glitch up the mountain to lose aggro, and you somehow make it to the boat, there is nothing there.

The only solution is to wait for 20 minutes for the Hearthstone to come off cooldown, go to SW and abandon and restart the quest and cross your fingers that it doesn't happen again :)

I tried this quest on one of my alts today. I realized that the quest bugs when you skip the cutscene. When you do that the boat you hop suddenly stops and you die because of fatigue in the middle of ocean.

If this happens to you, the solution is simple. Release your spirit and accept resurrection sickness. Then go to the boat, hop on it again and never skip the cutscene. Then it sends you to Boralus without any problem.

Description

I'm relieved you woke up! Having to carry you would have made this job far less appealing. The name's Flynn, and my client in Boralus is paying me a king's bounty to break you out of here. You, my friend, are incarcerated in Tol Dagor. Used to be a legit prison... 'til the Ashvane Trading Company bought it. Now it's Priscilla's own personal fortress, riddled with scum on both sides of the bars. Wasn't hard to bribe my way into this cell. Now we just have to get out. Not to worry. I have a plan!
