After you kill the two demons, use again the Essence of Wyrmtongue, that is in your bags, so you don´t have to fight back to your exit from the cavern

If you are like me, you have to stand on the fire near the portal in the cave with your disguise, so you get the acces to the portal. I was standing next to it, but that didn't work.

My Experience:
Thar'zul was Alrighty to Solo as a fury Warrior at 845 ilvl.

Note: If you see the opposite faction is fighting don't just stand and watch put your hands on .. you will definitely get credit to the kill.

for you can still find it in your bag even if the item has disappeared from your Objective list. Use it on your way out.

For those that prefer not watching too long videos, just go down to the bottom of the same cellar (the one closest to the quest giver) you did in the previous quest to where the glowing green fel curtain/door is and then step ON the little round green plate or brazier beside the curtain. There is no cogwheel to indicate that you can interact with it, but you must step on it and the curtain will disappear to allow you in. Kill bosses. Done.

The Essence of Wyrmtongue potion can only be used in that area, and the transformation is removed if you teleport away. So no saving this for a cool transform effect.

Becareful of Elux'ara Darkscorn's Dark Reflection spells. They continue to attack after you've brought her down. I'm not sure it's because Thar'zul respawned during the fight with her meaning the whole encounter was still "active", but it ended up whacking me through the last few hit points I had left.

If anyone is curious, the Lingering Wyrmtongue Essence does not work like the quest item, although the appearance applied and the buff is identical.

Let's clear up a few things:
go down the stairs where Archmage Leryda is standing at 74,80;
go clear to the bottom back of the cave until you find the green flame curtain;
jump up on the green thing to the right of the curtain;
it will something like "the chamber is open" and the curtain will disappear;
go into the chamber and speak to Elux'ara (she's further back in the chamber near a portal);
she will remove your disguise;
fight her and then Thar'zul;
get out of the chamber quickly, stopping on the ramp out of the chamber (they respawn in seconds);
reapply your disguise, Essence of Wyrmtongue is in your backpack;
walk out and turn the quest in.

Description

The time has come at last.

Deep within the cavernous underbelly of Karazhan lies a long-forgotten chamber. Based on what you learned from our demon friend, I believe this is where its mistress dwells.

This demon's master must come from the highest ranks of the Burning Legion. This does not bode well for Karazhan.

We need to secure Deadwind Pass, <name>.

You must find this demon and destroy it.
