The entrance is located just south east (just a little bit) of where the objective is on the map underwater in a cave.

The entrance to Skeer's cave is south east of target, in the Muckscale Grotto. Nearest flight point is The Briny Shallows then follow the coast left, till you reach Muckscale Shallows, then dive to the Grotto :-))))

Go to roughly 25, 54 (if you have a coords addon). Drop into the water where you will be in the Muckscale Shallows sub-zone. Swim to the loor and face North to seethe mouth of the cave.

25.7, 54.1 according to Carbonite. It's not at the foot of the shoreline cliff, but a bit farther out, and deeper.

The Cave entrance is underwater. In the cave you will find a Chunk of Amber and some level 90 Mudscale Skinflayers (Saurok) Aggressive NPCs inside.

Go to roughly 25, 54 (if you have a coords addon). Drop into the water where you will be in the Muckscale Shallows sub-zone. Swim to the floor and face North to see the mouth of the cave.

The sea weed around the mouth of the cave is different, if you can't find it, drop down the very bottom and look for the sea weed that resembles a "tree".

When you get in there, be prepared as there are 4 mobs each with about 325k hp that will you instantly agro. There are also 2 more mobs near the rock you have to hit that are sleeping. They will wake up when you get close.

As a spriest, I bubbled to the rock, hit it and then feared the mobs to get out of there.

While you are on this quest, check the back of the cave to see if Bloodsoaked Chitin Fragment has spawned. This is a rare BOA item that counts for the Lost and Found achievement.

Hello all.

I reached Exalted with the Klaxxi the other day, and realized I hadn't rescued all of the paragons yet. So I flew all around Dread Wastes doing every quest I could find, but I can't seem to get this quest.

Kil'ruk is at Klaxxi'vess, and he offers me dailies, but not this quest. Is there some other requirement that I'm overlooking?

I put in a help ticket... the first GM said, "I see you completed the quest, sorry it took so long to get back to you." I hadn't completed it. So I responded and explained that wasn't the case. The next GM says, "It looks like you abandoned the quest, you should be able to pick it back up and complete it." I don't think I ever had it, but if I did and abandoned it... I still can't get it now.

Anyone have any suggestions?

The exact coordinates are 25.64, 54.37. Type "/way 25.64 54.37" in the chat window to generate a way point. The cave (or grotto), is all the way to the bottom of the ocean. It is a huge opening, like the caves in Cataclysm.

Swim in (it's a little ways, but you won't run out of breath. Then surface just offshore. If you are a squishy, like I am, kill off the adds one or two at a time. Be sure and grab the Bloodsoaked Chitin Fragment before you waken Skeer the Bloodseeker. (Actually, I grabbed the fragment while he was mono-logging. He tends to chatter on for a while). I had to click on/off him a couple of times before I finally got the quests dialog. Grab the quests, then swim out of the cave quickly, before the bad guys re-spawn and read the quests.

since no one mentioned this recently and I had to check at the very bottom at an out of date comment. this quest is not available until you reach honored with the klaxxi. issue popped up while I was helping a friend quest.

This is not a good place to die. No way to get back since it is underwater. I was not ready for the mobs guarding.

Exact coordinates are 25.7, 54.1 and upon entering the cave you will be attacked or at least have to attack several Muckscale Skinflayers

Do not do this quest after indulging in gratuitous amounts of dread beer. Swimming drunk is just silly and frustrating.

Please do notice... if you already have dailies unlocked.. the quest to awake Skeer can be hidden by a Blue exclamation sign instead of a yellow one.. talk to kilruk and the quest may be there.. remember you need Honored to get it..

I needed to find Skeer the Bloodseeker to complete Amber is the Color of My Energy achievement. The Klaxxi NPCs were no help. I then went to the underwater cave and found Skeer there with the "?" over his head. I completed the quests with Skeer, returned to Kil'ruk to turn it in, and got the achievement. Woot!

We have spotted another paragon buried in amber, hidden in the waters to the southwest.

Adding another paragon to our numbers is vital. Another champion from ages past could turn the tide in our favor.

I would go immediately, but unfortunately, I am needed here.
