I would suggest doing this as a group. Even if you clear the area a little, the mobs hit hard. Kaz'tik died both times I tried it alone.

During the Escort, groups of 3 will attack, and they hit like trucks, as of current BETA build, and as far as I can see, the groups spawns accordingly to the number of people escorting him (1 player = 3 mobs | 2 players = 6 mobs) So I actually suggest a full trinity grp. (tank/Healer/DPS)

if you are trying to complete here's a bunch of things to look out for

he stops at 3 points to fight off mobs spawned by the quest

he doesn't fight with any patrols or lizards that just hang around the area normally so if you don't pull them you don't have to worry, I followed him while mounted and skipped a few mobs

you have to stay close to him though, if you get separated he will despawn, sometimes he decides to run off on his own, even while fighting quest mobs and will despawn, you have to stay with him if he does that and still fight off the mobs. Put a raid marker on him when you start the quest so you can follow him if he runs off mid-fight.

some of the bigger mobs can put a nasty bleed on you, so be careful, even after finishing the fight you can die from the bleed

I just finished this as lvl 90. I followed him on a flying mount and avoided any mobs that way. He does despawn easily so stay close to him if you can. If he despawns at the pile of dirt u have to get back to him and do escort quest again. Also while on Flying Mount I only had 2 attackers at a time instead of 3. Hope this helps :)

They must have nerfed it as I solo'd it at 89 as a Boomkin. Only got typically one or two mobs at the end.

Any advice what to do if he despawns? He ran off while I was fighting and I can't find him anywhere -_-

If you fly beside/above Kaz'tik the Manipulator during the escort part, and out of reach of the "attackers", they wont attack you. This will make it incredibly faster and easier :)
I was on my mount the whole time in the pre-quest where he was summoned.

Note! These tactics can only be used if you have reached level 90 and learned the flying skill (Duh).

If you're like me and notice that you have this quest in your log, but there are no markers on your map to tell you where to go...

He is located at (43.3, 63.4). Talk to him to start the escort.

If you're level 90 and are able to use a flying mount, you can fly right above Kaz'tik during the escort and you won't even have to fight any mobs - they'll just despawn and Kaz'tik will continue along the escort path until the quest is completed.

Make sure you stay close to him because he runs very fast and sometimes he will not stop to heal you if you aggro a mob. If you have a pet and your pret aggros he just keeps running. If while you are on the reunited quest you lose track of him and cannot find him, the best thing to do is abandon the quest, then head to 43, 63 and he will be there to offer it again. If you do not use coords, he is on the biggest eastern-most sand mound (island) before you enter Zan'Vess zone.

If you lose him after his quests and cannot find him he will be at 42, 72. The same place where he showed you his weapon. This is the southern most island before Zan'vess to the east.

The best thing to do is to get on your flying mount and follow him this way until he says "Prepare for Battle". This will happen 3 times.

Careful not to mine, or gather, turn your head, or blink, or do anything other than watch him close or you will loose him and have to start over...this makes it my 3rd attempt now.

I'm currently stuck at this part. I didn't get the quest from the NPC at 43, 63 and he isn't there anymore. He is at 42,72 but he doesn't give me a quest, nor can I click a dialogue option. I think this is a bug and I hope it will be fixed.
