Confirmed bugged as of 1/11/07. You can place the trap but nothing happens. If you just place the 3 Grisley Totems at the altar, you'll complete the quest.

Altar is at 31,22. 100% drop rate on the totems

Just spam click totems after clicking on the altar

Yep, its bugged, nothing happens when you press the altar but you can still complete the quest by placing the totems.

Was it just me or should Misha (Rexxar' bear) be standing there, near the altar?! :s

Must have been hotfixed last night, worked for me. The trap is misha, she one shots the gronn.

I just activated the trap, dropped the totems, Misha kills Gorgrom, quest completed.

This quest is not bugged, worked fine for me, did as Slap said, activated the trap and dropped the totems before Gorgrom died.

This was a funny quest for me. If you're horde and you summon Misha when there's alliance nearby the altar, Misha will go and attack them.

Poor poor Gnome, Misha was hungry :(

Bugged as of 23 March. Clicking on the Altar does nothing and Misha is just standing next to it looking at some building to the side.

Misha is currently bugged, and will stay there seemingly forever, preventing you from using the trap.

However, that makes the game think the corpse is still there, and you can just plant the Grisly Totems and go home.

All you have to do is:
(1) Kill three of the orges to get the totems.
(2) go to the altar (30.22).
(3) Right click on it and then a Friendly elite Bear will be standing on top of it and then behind you Gorgrom (70 elite) will spawn. (dont worrie he wont hurt you) then the bear blows up and Gorgrom will die, then with hast lay the totems on his corpse.

Helps to think that your not equipt with the totem.

As of right now the quest is sort of messed up, but still completeable.

When I arrived at the altar, the bear was already present. When I clicked on the altar, nothing happened. The ogre didn't spawn. But I planted the 3 totems anyway, and I completed the quest.

I just dont know how 2 get there without flying mount... is there a cave or something? coz it's not the cave below sylvanaar and it's not that cave in the upper left corner of the map...

Misha's a tank. As a hunter, it's pretty awesome to have 2 pets to kick ass with. I've been wanting Misha on my team since forever, and while she's not tameable, this is the closest thing to it!

wow. way easy. i was expecting the bear to fight, instead Gorgrom spawns took two steps forward and fell flat on his face. the bear walked around a little before vanishing.

I was able to plant the totems in the vicinity of the altar without actually ever fighting Gorgrom. Did it by accident. I dunno if someone else had recently killed him or what, though it didn't look like. Someone else want to verify?

Patch 3.3 - placed the trap on the altar, clicked the altar ... Gorgrom came up from behind, the trap went off and he dropped dead. All I had to do was place the totems ... never struck a blow.

You don't even have to summon Gorgrom in order to complete the quest-objective, you just put down 3 totems on the alter, and you're done. :)

I was actually disapointed with this quest. It said that I had to kill Gorgrom, but then he just fell dead in front of me?... I thought it was bugged untill I read the comments above -_- total bummer...

I did the chain quest that leads to you becoming the king of the ogres before doing this quest I think that might bug the quest and make it non completable because I kept killing the ogres for hours with 0 totems dropped I was ,however, able to use the altar which summons Misha and Gorgrom but I did not get credit for anything I still need to collect the totems which I am not able to.

Just did this quest on my lock on the way to the cloth headgear at the end of the chain. Totems are now dropping properly from the ogres.

the clicky in the quest tracker only clicks the altar by proxy, you have to click the totems in your inventory

Not sure if this helped, but the instructions in chat screen tell you how to run to the area by running across bridge and through tunnel to reach quest area. No totems dropped at first, so dropped quest, reacquired it and ran/flew across bridge and through tunnel and started getting 100% drops as advertised.

Just did this quest , go to the point on map, kill 3 ogres so you can get 3 totems, then click on altar ,and on dead body of the creature place the totems.

I first clicked the altar without having any of the totems and after that I killed maybe 15 Ogres and not a single drop.
Abandoned the quest and accepted it again, 3 ogres got me 3 totems.

Gorgrom the Dragon-Eater

Collect 3 Grisly Totems from the Boulder'mok ogres. Then, use Sablemane's Trap at Gorgrom's Altar to set the trap and summon and kill Gorgrom the Dragon-Eater.

When Gorgrom is dead, place the 3 Grisly Totems near his corpse.

	Plant Grisly Totem (3)
	Sablemane's Trap (Provided) (1)

Description

The gronn we seek is Gorgrom the Dragon-Eater. With Sablemane's trap, you will make short work of the gronn. You will find him accepting sacrifices from the ogres of Boulder'mok.

Follow the road north from the Circle of Blood, then west at Ruuan Weald. Go northwest through the tunnel.

First, kill the ogres for their heads. We will send a message. Set the trap at his altar. When he is dead, plant the grisly totems near him - none can mistake that message.

Take the bear.

<Misha growls.>
